I booked this hotel through Ctrip at 3:30 AM, thinking it was for the next day, but it turned out the booking was for the same day and had already expired. It was my own mistake, but I hope Ctrip can fix this issue to avoid confusion in the future.
As for the hotel: the energy here is truly terrible. When I arrived, the staff looked at me without a word, like I was a stranger from another planet—cold and unfriendly. If you are someone who believes in energy, please don’t stay here.
There’s another hotel I’ve stayed at before, about an hour’s drive away, slightly more expensive, but so much better in every way. This is my honest share.

這是本次自駕遊入住體驗最好的酒店之一，面海灣風景極好，酒店內部佈置了很多古董傢俱值得欣賞，食物也不錯。在酒店外面特地測了一下緯度。

Nous avons passé 3 nuits. L’hôtel est parfait, le paysage absolument magnifique, et le personnel très sympathique. Nous avons pu faire l’expérience de la fauconnerie qui est juste rattachée à l’hôtel et grâce à David qui est un merveilleux dresseur nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir vivre cette expérience unique avec des rapaces notamment un Grand Duc nommé Flasch. C’était juste magique Je vous conseille cet hôtel absolument et la fauconnerie.

Die Shieldaig Lodge liegt eigentlich schön am Wasser mit kleinem Park und "Tiergarten" (Greifvögeln), allerdings wurde uns der Rundgang außen durch viele viele Stechmücken vermiest. Der Empfang war freundlich. Nachmittags hatten wir einen sehr guten Afternoon Tea mit so viel Essen, dass das Abendessen ausfiel. Sehr gut ist such die Var mit unzählige Whiskeys

The setting by the water must have been stunning, and the birds of prey certainly add a unique touch. It's great to hear the reception was welcoming, and the afternoon tea seems to have been a real treat—enough to make dinner unnecessary! The variety of whiskeys sounds like a fun highlight too. Hopefully the midges won’t be as much of an issue next time you visit, but it seems like you still had a memorable stay.

Als je in dit kasteel wilt overnachten zou ik zeker de meerkost van een kamer met zicht op het meer erbij nemen. De driegangenmenu die ze dagelijks serveren is uitstekend, zodat we zelfs de t****e avond daar gebleven zijn, ondanks andere plannen.. Er is tenslotte ook nog de whisky en Gin Bar. Een uitgelezen collectie van whisky's maakt de keuze zeer moeilijk...

J’écris cet avis très tardivement. Je n’avais pas pris le temps à l’époque mais j’ai toujours ce séjour dans la tête et j’y repense avec nostalgie, preuve que cette maison est exceptionnelle. Le diner et le petit déjeuner y sont excellents, la décoration très raffinée. Tout semble être resté dans son intemporalité. Le must est de prendre une chambre avec vue pour un décor sublime.
