福特普林特爾斯酒店(The Fort Printers)

街の中にあり最高の立地で、灯台やモスク、ビーチにすぐに出ることが出来る。 家具やアート作品などのセンスがとても素晴らしかった。 パキスタン人オーナーが選んでいるとのこと。花の生け方も素敵だった。 ラウンジにはブリューゲルのカタログなどがあった。 ホテルの従業員のリネンの制服もホテルに合っていた。 プールも大きくはないが、周りの古い黄色い壁とのカラーコントラストが素敵だった。 朝食はコンチネンタルにしたが、ヘルシーでおしゃれで美味しかった。 スイートに泊まったが、猫足のバスタブ。ただし、窓の外は街路なので、窓を開けることができず、 暗かったのが少し残念。

Chambre magnifique, épuré type colonial. Pas de mini frigo ni plateau de bienvenue. Chambre donnant sur la rue, très bruyant grande fenêtre et volets qu'on ne peut pas ouvrir. Canapé taché. Petit déjeuner Sri-Lankai qu'on devait commander la veille, je l'attend toujours. Piscine intérieure pour 2 personnes, très étroite et 2 transats. Béton ciré très glissant. Repas qualité prix très Très onéreux. Personnels moyen ,fuyant. A 500m de la plage non accessible à la baignade. De l'autre côté de la rue chambres "school" plus petites et matériel moins noble. L'hôtel e dit "ecolo" mais papier pour essuyé les mains dans les toilettes de la piscine. Ecolo surtout dans la bienveillance et les services.

Lovely hotel. The room was magnificent with a wonderful canopied bed. The small pool is very welcome. The breakfasts are delightful with various choices, including a Sri Lankan breakfast, which my wife had both days and loved. The manager was both charming and knowledgeable and was able to make helpful recommendations . My only negative comment is that the restaurant across the street had live LOUD music until 10 PM both nights we were there. They did stop promptly at that time but, before then, they were quite annoying. Perhaps a room in the back would be quieter. We were able to occupy ourselves until 10 PM and it was more in the nature of a mild annoyance. I would definitely stay here again.

A lovely unique hotel right in the middle of the Dutch Fortress. Really fab. Professional staff who were very welcoming; and a truly superb Western breakfast (including granola). The area is buzzing and everything about this hotel is geared up to the customers needs. I would highly recommend it.

A very comfortable and smallish boutique hotel right in the middle of the historic old town. Its within easy walking distance of a number of historic city features, the beach and many restaurants and bars. The famous cricket club is a slightly longer but comfortable walk and the fish market a little further beyond where you can watch the nets being hand pulled from the beach by teams of fishermen. The hotel rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed. Privacy slightly compromised by thin walls and glass partitioning in sections. We stayed for two nights and ate breakfast here which was of high quality both days. We ate out both nights so cannot comment on the evening dining. Service from all the staff was excellent throughout our stay.

Very beatiful holland period hotel. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, with all the services that you need. The staff is lovely and always ready for your needs. Staying inside the fort is a unique experience and the fort hotel is very characteristic

Where to start...CATASTROPHIC,disastrous experience !!! I definetely not recommend to stay in the hotel. The hotel has a lot of charm but unfortunately totally ruined by the staff. We were the only clients this night to stay in the hotel, and have been able to choose our room. If you wish to sleep and rest do not go there, we have been wake up at 7:30am by the staff acting like there was no one in the hotel, loud music in the lobby, speaking loud together, moving table and chairs without lifting them...etc even when you are going back to your parents house, your mom is more respectful and start doing noise at 9am... so when you are paying 240Euros the night you are expecting to sleep in the morning. The answer of the manager has has been " we start our operation at 7:30am". Following this for our check out, we book our stay on Booking, so the price was known in advance, and without me paying attention to the amount , we have been charge of the wrong amount, notified to the hotel after we left and the error was acknowledged, since 1 month I'm waiting for the reimbursment of the difference ( following up with the hotel manager on whatsapp every week ... ) because of course no commercial gesture for the early wake up. And cherry on the cake, after arriving to the next hotel for our last day of the holiday, I check the cash that I had in the my luggage, an important amount were missing , and the only moment were this amount has not been in a safe or not with me has been during 1 or 2h at the hotel , when we went for a walk...

Vi hade en helt underbar vistelse på Printers. Fint renoverat i 250 år gammal kolonialbyggnad. Vi firade min 60-årsdag på hotellet och blev fint uppmärksammande av hotellet. Vi blev dessutom uppgraderad till en svit i hertitage ving. Hotellet hade dessutom väldig god mat och en lite pool att hänga vid. En oas i mysig miljö. Även underbar personal på hotellet.
