We stayed 2 nights here after a lovely tour of Sri Lanka to wind down before going back home. We had a very warm and friendly welcome and stayed in the hibiscus villa with private pool. The villa is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed is wonderful and the bathroom really large with a double shower. The garden area is real pretty overlooking tea plantations . You can even see pluckers at work , The pool is large and water warm .Nice sunbeds. Tea and coffee making facilities with luxury tea bags . The food is wonderful! Compliments to the chef. Lunch was delicious with nice healthy choices as well . Diner is a 3 course menu with Thai influences. The only criticism is that the portions are too large so shame to waste.Bread is fresh .They use products from their garden. Breakfast was really nice too . The large reception/ bar area is very inviting and nice cocktails to be enjoyed. The gardens are lovely and lots of birds around and monkeys eating all the mangoes ! The staff were lovely and and very attentive in all areas . It’s about 40 minutes drive from Galle and 2h30 to the airport. A perfect way to end our stay . Also a few dogs and the lovely Ginger the cat who loves lots of attention!

Thank you George, we all had a fabulous end to our Sri Lankan tour staying in the beautiful and elegant villas. Our group comprised 3 couples , each villa was different but all so stylishly designed. The location is perfect, 10 minutes from KK Beach and sufficiently near to Galle . KK Beach is situated on a stunning beach and we were able to spilt our days between 2 of the most gorgeous hotels I have visited. We are well travelled and rather fussy, yet all aspects of these hotels were faultless. We even left another hotel we were staying in, to have the opportunity to spend a night at KK Beach. The staff were attentive, courteous and obviously devoted to the charming owner, George Cooper , who apparently was very supportive during Covid. He was a delight to meet at dinner when he greeted all the guests. Breakfast and dinners were excellent, breakfast could be served by your private pool. The free tuk tuk transfers between the hotels were appreciated. We can't wait to return!

We stayed at Khanda kanda to celebrate my retirement.What a wonderful place in such a tranquil environment, we loved every minute. The staff were fantastic and a credit to the resort. George Cooper should be very proud of his plantation resort. I would recommend Khanda Kanda for anyone interested in a relaxing holiday.

We stayed in Tamarind villa for 4 nights & it was without a doubt our best hotel in our 18 nights in Sri Lanka. Our villa was one of the few without its own pool but we enjoyed the main pool to ourselves on most occasions . We would like to thank all the staff for the excellent service we received . The location is so beautiful & peaceful & we loved spending time on our balcony watching & listening to the wildlife. The food & drink were superb, although a little on the expensive side . If we return to Sri Lanka , we will definitely return to Kahanda Kanda - it is a very special place with easy access to Galle & the beach by Tuk tuk- but you may not want to leave ! Thank you to George & everyone at Kahanda Kanda who made our stay so perfect .

This place is amazing. Nice for relax, Comfortable, private clean Villa. Food was delicious. Service was realy Good. But we had bad experience. We were very disapointed. be careful with your money and valuables when you leave the room. do not leave them lying loose in the room. Store your belongings in the safe.

Stayed in Hellaconia villa for two nights and was one of the most relaxing times I have ever had. The food and the service of the staff were excellent. They had an al-carte menu during our stay and had different varieties for every meal and the meals and dessert were excellent. Mr. George Cooper who is the owner of the premise visits every guest and make sure that everything is as they expected, which was nice to see. Hellaconia suite contains a private pool and is ideal for a couple to have a relaxing time. The villa doesn't have a TV however, it has a small library which can keep you occupied during your stay. You might be able to see some wildlife during your stay here as well such as Monkeys and Pea Cocks, and if you are a dog lover there are few dogs within the hotel as well whom you can pet. Even though the hotel is located near several attractions, you can spend the whole stay within the premises without any boredom. Highly recommended for a calm relaxing stay in the down south area.

Amazing resort style hotel with beautiful surroundings and views. The rooms are magnificent with very unique designs. We had one mishap with dinner (translation issue, probably our fault) and not enough to bring the rating down. Food was delicious Asian fusion mix.

We had a lovely time here. Our villa with a pool lived up to our expectations. Monitor lizards and peacocks paid visits to our garden. Monkeys in the trees were fun to see too. Service was always excellent and the food very good. Would certainly return.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service provided by the staff was superb. This is a gorgeous hotel with beautiful architecture and gardens. Suggest to have a walk around in the morning.
