Great choice, in a beautiful place! Everything was great. Big rooms!

Das Label "Luxury Hotels Gallipoli" mit den beschönigenden, super gut gemachten Fotos auf der Hotel-Webseite, sowie die meist sehr positiven Bewertungen auf den gängigen Buchungsplattformen liessen unsere Erwartungen deutlich höher ausfallen, als was diese Herberge erfüllen könnte. Im ganzen Haus ist von Luxus nichts anzutreffen - auch nicht in den sog. Deluxe-Zimmern. Die Möblierung ist sehr einfach gehalten, recht in die Jahre gekommen und macht einen eher kühlen Eindruck (das kann ja bei hochsommerlicher Hitze noch ganz vorteilhaft sein). Zu beachten: Alle Zimmer sind unterschiedlich im Layout. Dabei sind die besagten Deluxe-Räume z.T. auch für Familien geeignet und über 2 Niveaus ausgelegt, somit recht geräumig. Wegen des verwinkelten, zwischen den Altstadt-Gassen eingezwängten Gebäudes haben einige nur wenig bis keine Aussicht. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die zentrale Lage im malerischen Zentrum des Altstädtchens, und die Freundlichkeit des Personals, das uns auch unkompliziert einen Zimmerwechsel ermöglichte. Das Frühstück wurde - trotz sommerlichen Wetters im September - in einem engen Raum im EG serviert (nichts mit Dachterrasse!). Für mitteleuropäische Verhältnisse war das Angebot eher spärlich, aber wir haben uns an Früchten, Gebäck, frischer Mozzarella usw. durchaus auch erfreuen können. Grösster Nachteil war für unser Empfinden die Lärmbeeinträchtigung duch alles, was sich im Haus bewegte: Zimmernachbarn, Putzpersonal usw. Darum: nicht zu viel vom Hotel erwarten und sich an der zauberhaften Atmosphäre Gallipolis erfreuen!

Una bomboniera all’ingresso del centro storico di Gallipoli. Ottima la posizione per chi vuole muoversi a piedi nel centro storico. La macchina l’abbiamo parcheggiata a 5 minuti da qui, vicino al porto. Le ragazze alla reception sono state molto disponibili, solari e professionali. L’hotel ha anche una convenzione con il lido bikini beach, con servizio navetta andata e ritorno gratuito. Lo consiglio

No hay ascensor y hay bastantes escaleras. Habitacion poco acogedora, oscura. Lo peor el desayuno que no pudimos hacer ya que era como una terraza que habian multitud de palomas que revoloteaban encima de la comida. Un asco

Nous avons été relogés dans un autre établissement, apprenant cette relocation par un mot affiché sur la porte d’entrée de l’hôtel. Nous nous sommes vus proposer une chambre sans fenêtre que nous avons refusée puis une autre a peine mieux. Aucune information reçue au préalable alors que la réservation avait été faite quelques jours avant. Expérience très décevante

Ho soggiornato con il mio fidanzato dal 03/7 al 06/07 in questo albergo situatosi nel centro storico di Gallipoli che permette di visitarla a pieno. Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dal personale della reception molto cortese e disponibile sempre pronto a soddisfare le nostre esigenze. Ci siamo subito accorti che l albergo non disponeva di ascensore ed è stato faticoso portare su le valigie anche perché la nostra stanza era posizionata all'ultimo piano. La nostra stanza era molto spaziosa con altrettanto bagno con doccia in vetro. Al mattino si comincia la colazione su una terrazza panoramica vista mare. La colazione è un po' misera però in compenso offre dei dolci molto buoni meglio di una pasticceria. L addetta alla colazione ci ha fatto sentire a casa per la sua estrema gentilezza, disponibilità e precisione. L'ultima sera ci siamo rilassati sul terrazzo con la jacuzzi accompagnato con un ottimo prosecco .L' abergo in sé è particolare in quanto è un palazzo antico. lo consiglio.

Everything was nice, the people were very friendly and the location is ideal, it was clean BUT it is very loud, you hear every sound (alarm clock in the morning from the other room, the breakfast buffet is above the room, when people speak in the other rooms)

Horrible place. The pigeons had free access to the breakfast which contained old bread dressed up with tomatoes or cream to disguise the stale taste. Locks didn’t work so we didn’t have access to our room for two hours. Hopelessly slow and inefficient staff delayed the process getting to the room. No refund offered even we pointed out we missed our excursion that day.

From the warm welcome at check-in to their willingness to assist with any queries, they made us feel valued and cared for throughout our visit. The breakfast served at the hotel was a highlight of our mornings. A variety of delicious options awaited us, and we enjoyed starting our day on the breakfast terrace, basking in the fresh air and lovely views. All in all, our stay at this hotel was a delightful experience. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast made it a memorable trip. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and convenient stay in the heart of the old town.
