加爾維斯頓海濱會議中心紅頂酒店(Beachfront Palms Hotel)

The front desk was helpful and friendly. I love the self serve beverages and fruit in the lobby. That was nice and unexpected. The hot breakfast was descent/good. Better than continental breakfast. The bed was ok but the bathroom smelled of urine the whole time we stayed there. There were tiny bugs crawling all around the tub. We couldn't open the safe and went to use the phone to call front desk then found out it did not work. Had to walk to the office to notify them which the maintenance guy came right way to open it. I love the location but overall the place is out dated and need major work. I was surprised there weren't any noise outside the room or other rooms around us considering the place was completely booked.

Hotel is by the beach where you can walk across the road to go to the beach.

when we arrive at property, home less person inside Hoel and some women sitting on the front couch is questionable. room was dirty. I can't believe how big different picture and reality. never ever stay at this kind of hotel.

This is a motel not a hotel. If they put you in the back you will enjoy a view of a giant cemetery. Saw many roaches on the property. Breakfast wasn’t too bad and the pool was heated so that was nice.

The service staff was great. The room looks just like the photos online, but more cramped than they appear. The room was not very clean there was trash on the floor and behind the beds. There were no hand towels at all and no towel for the floor. No body wash or basics normally provided with any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The air conditioner struggled all night to keep the room cool despite the 50 degree temps outside. The room advertised 2 queen beds, but they were full beds. I’d recommend staying next door at LaQuinta before staying here.

The staff, lobby and service people are great. They were willing to answer any questions and do what needed to be done for us. The quality of the actually hotel is not so great. It was not well lit, and it was inconvenient to go from the room to the lobby (distance,darkness). Our room was filthy, other than the bedsheets, I got cleaning spray to clean the bathroom area so that we could feel comfortable using it. We had to depart early because of an emergency and the staff was very understanding.

Overall good stay. The lobby and free daily breakfast area were fairly updated and nice. Pool area looked nice and the gym was on par for the course. The rooms and elevator were a bit dated. No balconies that I saw. The “ocean view” from my ocean view room left a bit to be desired. The window was pointed at Kroger but you could see a tiny bit of the ocean if you were in the corner of the window. I use elevators all the time for my job and this one made some bad noises so just used the stairs after day It is right next to Kroger, that was amazing for random little purchases you need to make throughout trips. Fast food places are just a few minutes away as well. The beach is across the street, seconds away. I went in December and paid $50 a night so I feel I got a good value for a moderate day in winter. As long as you don’t have high expectations for the room or the ocean view from the room, you will be okay :)

Pros: Offered free covered parking for the week while we took a cruise out of Galveston. Good, hot breakfast. Fast check-in. Cons: Very hard, uncomfortable bed. Slow elevators. No towels in the bathroom.
