失落巴約旅館(Lost Bayou Guesthouse)

We can not say enough about this charming B&B. Barbara and Dave make you feel like family! Not only is this a beautiful place but the owners are precious! The breakfast was like heaven ! The room was charming.it is a wonderful B&B, fabulous breakfast, and charming appeal. The owners are like old friends, that is how welcoming they are! I recommend this beautiful Victorian home!

My fiancé booked us a few nights at Lost Bayou Guesthouse to celebrate my birthday and have a “stay cation”. Dave and Barbara were AMAZING hosts. We truly left feeling like we made new friends. The house is GORGEOUS and the backyard is so peaceful and relaxing. The food was super delicious and the history and charm of Galveston can’t be beat!

Barbara and Dave were such wonderful hosts! They made us feel like we were visiting good friends. Delicious breakfast, great conversation and a quaint, clean home. They were so sincere about making our stay enjoyable and went above and beyond to help when we had car trouble. We would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone!

I missed the note that there was no kids under 10 allowed in this B&B. I was offered no refund or partial refund after my 4 1/2 hour drive. The front desk lady was VERY RUDE and even followed me out to my car showing me how there was a note for NO KIDS UNDER 10 YEARS OLD. I could forgive this mistake, except, the front desk lady said, "if you can figure out something to do with the kids then the two adults can stay". Like... what? What am I suppose to do with the kids? Leave them on the beach? If you're looking for a family friendly B&B this is not the place. The room I reserved was on the 3rd floor with no elevator (not convenient for an elderly or handicapped person). I would not recommend only because the front lady was so rude. I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Texas City and had the best time with the kids. I highly recommend the Texas City Comfort Inn!!! Also, there was limited parking - had to park on the street and was surrounded by residential housing. I am not sure if this is a safe part the surrounding houses seemed poorer than other parts of the island.

I will tell you that this is the only place we stay! Not only is it a beautiful Victorian home, its stunning. Barbara and Dave are fabulous host and hostess. They make you feel like family from the first minute you enter this beautiful home. The smell of fresh cookies and warm muffins greet you at the door. The rooms are authentic and just beautiful. We stayed in the sea breeze room. Very very clean and very Covid friendly. We felt so calm and relaxed , and very safe at all times. The breakfast was phenomenal. Every morning was an experience of pure delight. The coffee was delicious. They always let us ask questions for the day, and helped us out for the day. We stay every year, and would not have it any other way. They treat you like family. We love Lost Bayou
