薩希爾酒店(Salthill Hotel)

Located just infront of the beach. This hotel has a fitness centre and the room was spacious and clean. There were ample of parking lots too.

Beautiful lovely hotel,very nice and very clean,staff are very nice and polite,we’re very enjoyed for stayed .

Amazing experience, would suggest to go for sea view room if available.

Hotel staff were friendly helpful and polite . Lots information on things to do and bus times. Hotel was spotless and excellent leisure centre. Hotel room was big disappointment. For 4 * hotel it was quite cramped. I was staying with friend and twin beds were pushed together. Not much room to separate them. Also serious lack of sockets in room and none by bed. In this era of people using electronic devices not good . Tv and set top box took up two plugs. Hotel has satellite tv which is good. You can get English and Irish channels but no Netflix. Bar Food could have better selection. No alternative to brown bread on bar food. Not everyone likes brown. After 5 pm you could not get sandwich. Breakfast was excellent. You had choice of cereals, croissants, pastries, fruit , toast and also cooked breakfast.

This property is in a stunning location facing the ocean. The hotel lobby feels grand when you walk in. Staff at the counter were very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely but it was very noisy at night. We had to keep the windows open, it was so hot in the room (mid-May) and we were above the bar so I assume the noise was coming from the open windows in the bar area because the outdoor patio was closed. This was unfortunate. I had emailed requesting a quiet room away from the bar since I'd read some negative reviews about that and never received a reply, so it's my fault that I didn't pursue that. We also had an issue with towels, 3 adults and we were only given towels for two. I reported this to front desk on the first day (of four day stay) and they said extra towels would be delivered but they weren't. We made do the next morning and reported it again to the front desk. The staff member was very apologetic and later that day we did have the three towels. When we were checking out, I went to pay for the one breakfast we had and the staff member said no charge so I assume that was to make up for the towel problem. Swimming in the pool was great. Very comfortable beds. Good shower and well stocked toiletries.

We had an oceanfront room, so the view of the Atlantic was wonderful. The included breakfast buffet was fine. The hotel is classic in style. We particularly liked the combo bar and restaurant room. Very warm and classic, and the tables were a nice distance apart. Our one issue that keeps this from being 5 stars is that the carpet in our room was old and a bit smelly.

Habitaciones antiguas, sin enchufes para carga de teléfono, se escucha constantemente la maquinaria del ascensor. Muy decepcionante, solo se salva la buena atención del personal.
