How nice to arrive at this colonial house with lush gardens and a friendly, warm welcome after a very long flight. We had an excellent dinner and very nice breakfast and all the modcons were available in the spacious room. The area is not far from the airport and just the right distance to be able to rest for a while. You can hear the planes fly overhead but this is not disturbing at all. They will even organise a spa or a safari for you.

We landed in Sri Lanka quiet early and made our way to this hotel which was around 15/20 mins away. We arrived at around 8.30am which was well before check in time, but they were So lovely and found us a lovely spot in the shade to sleep, relax and use the pool. The hotel and pools are stunning and you feel you’re in a tranquil oasis. As soon as our room was ready we were allowed to check in and again the room was beautiful. Extremely high ceilings and a balcony over looking the pool At one end and an outside seating area at the other. The man who owns d the property looked after us and told Us about the house interesting history. We had a lovely lunch and traditional Sri Lanka dinner. We would stay here again, the only down side is I’m not sure how much we here was to explore outside the hotel and the meals and beers were more expensive than we expected. Having said that the price to stay at this hotel was exceptional so this counter balances that Highly recommend

Great hospitality and a very quiet place. Rooms were clean and tidy. Especially the well upkept garden and pool were amazing. It felt like a nice botanical garden! Owner lives parttime in Europe, hence the few handy tools like free water tap to refill bottles and also waste separation. Unique in Sri Lanka!

Absolutely Amazing place!!! Everything was TOP!!! Very beautiful place, very clean, amazing garden, great food, great people, Very beautiful room!!! We did enjoy fully!!! We were only sad that did stay there only one day!!! Definitely we will advice to book that place)))

we used this beautiful small hotel for our arrival and departure in and from Sri Lanka. On Christmas Eve they served us a delicious Sri Lankan BBQ dinner that compensated for the missed Xmas dinner back home. The garden hosts two colonial styled modern guest houses with several clean and latest interior designed rooms. Breakfast was included in our room rates. Very friendly and welcoming staff seeking to make our stay most pleasant. There are two pools in the garden, one in front of each house, and the garden is beautiful. A true splendour I would recommend heartfully to those who like to relax off the city’s buzz.

This is an excellent choice to stay after a long flight. After a short drive you can relax in a beautiful calm, leafy hotel with a lovely swimming pool. The welcome is great and the breakfast and dinner were excellent. It is about 6 km from Negombo where I strongly recommend a morning boat cruise with Captain Fernando. The rooms are enormous and amount to a suite of rooms really.

Friendly and attentive staff. Food was very nice. Filtererd water station on site. Sadly the roooms let it down a little. Ours was very basic and the air con unit wasnt functioning correctly. Outside shower vibe was interesting shall we say, but again the decor needs freshening up. You don't really need more than a night/2 max here at the start or end of your trip.

Wow! The staff really make this place extra special. Tharuka & Dasun were amazing. Super helpful, super kind, super attentive, super generous and super friendly. What an asset they are to the owners of this guest house. My husband and I stayed with our dog after a long flight from Barcelona for 4 nights. Nothing was a problem. They arranged tuk tuks for us and the airport collection was fantastic (considering our flight was very delayed and nothing was mentioned). We have to mention the chef. The sri lankan breakfasts were simply yummy and the dinners! WOW! The selection of curries were out of this world. The beds were super king and super comfortable. Rooms large and spacious with private terrace. Pools were magic. We will definitely return and again thank the staff for a memorable stay. A great little food stand across the road for excellent kottu!

Very clean accomodation, very friendly and helpful staff (organised a transfer from the airport early in the morning) The food is very good but it is quite expensive there but you also get big portions! The garden is very nice, wonderful swimming pools.
