Great location to base yourself for Orange, Avignon, and Chateauneuf de Pape. Lovely property to relax with a pool, olive and pomegranate trees, and even a resident tortoise that was rescued from smugglers by the authorities and re-homed at the property as one of the owners has an animal care background. The kids LOVED the tortoise, and there are also horses that can be fed, plus a coi pond and chickens. We were tired when we arrived and inquired about dinner. Normally you need to reserve in advance, which I highly recommend you do because the dinner was delicious (I think almost all the ingredients were grown on the property). The owners are lovely and were able to fit us in for dinner. There is also a little boutique of their products (they make olive oil and some other things). The entire venture is a labor of love, which you can see all around in the small details. Breakfast was also fantastic with a number of homemade jams, eggs cooked to order from the property's chickens, and the usual spread of yogurts, charcuterie, cheeses, etc. This is the kind of property where you could easily spend a week unwinding, and we highly recommend. For kids especially, there are rooms with space for them, and plenty to do around the property. However, do NOT follow Google maps instructions to arrive (we did so and almost ended up stuck as Google takes you through random fields and a rutted road that becomes impassable). Look on Google where the property is but then take the main roads and not the route that Google suggests!
