Tina and her team at the hotel have been amazing, very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much for them, rooms great and clean, food was lovely, the little Birthday cake and sing song wishes was a nice touch, would stay here again… Danke…

We stayed the weekend at Gasthaus Edelweis (during summertime). The surrounding are quite scienic, a beautiful location with mountains on each side and a river running through. You can hear the river and the classic cowbells from the Gasthouse. The interior of the gasthouse is tidy and clean. Rooms are more modern then expected, beds are medium to hard. Dining area are more "autentic". We had supper and breakfast at the gasthouse and the supper was classic with wienerschnitzel and knödel on the menu. Somewhat similar to what you can find in the entire area. Dont expect a extraordinary dish. The breakfast is somewhat above the average. There is a good selection of meat, cheese, homemade bread, local eggs etc. Here you feel the owners are giving much love and awareness. The staff/owners are very serviceminded, helpfull and will make sure your stay is optimized. On the downside, if you are a light sleeper there is a constant low frequency noise during the night + ventilation from the bathroom. If you are a heavy sleeper you probadly wouldnt mind. The use of perfume is imo a bit unfortunate. At the room the cleaning deterteng is smells like old womens powder makeup. In the dinimg room it smells like citronella/citrus. Tv has (offcourse) only german speaking channels. But eventhough we speak german we rather listen to the outside nature. It is a 3 star gasthouse and I think it fits well for our stay.
