This historic, heritage manor in George, is the perfect oasis to escape to. Philda is an excellent hostess. The rooms are elegant yet comfortable. We loved our beautiful en-suite bedroom: Fresh flowers, small touches and attention to detail. The quality linen, mattress and towels ensured a blissed and blessed in-room experience. Wi-Fi is available, even during load shedding. We explored the beautiful garden created by Desmond. Ideal for an enjoyable sojourn.

In a sense this was for me a random stay as i was in George from Plett to service my car. Staying over made sense and scoring a complete luck with availability at Fairview - a bonus! Warmest welcome, huge bright, beautifully appointed room. Everything had been carefully considered to make my stay relaxing and comfortable. Philda was super kind and made a plan for me while i waited for my car - definitely coming back.!

We stayed with the lovely host, Philda, for one night while in George on business and we'll definitely be back! Her house is nothing short of amazing with style, attention to detail and fairly priced. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay and we have never come across such a well stocked room with everything from a microwave to crockery and from an iron to a proper coffee maker. The accommodation is ultra stylish and comfortable, has a lovely view of the garden with access to the pool and is totally secure with security gates. Philda cooked a lovely breakfast and we were made to feel very welcome We'll be back for a longer visit in the future, for sure

My husband and I recently spent a night at Fairview Homestead and left feeling so welcomed and at ease with Philda. The room was lovely overlooking the beautiful garden of herbs, flowers and roses. After a good rest in the comfortable bed we were treated to a super breakfast with eggs freshly collected from her hens and avocados from the tree in the garden. We will certainly visit again when next in George.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay. A home away from home. We were there for a gala and Philda was nothing but helpful and friendly. It was so peaceful and the rooms and gardens were like we were in the middle of the countryside.

It was wonderful staying at Fairview Homestead again, with it’s absolutely beautiful garden. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, Philda was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed for eating out and what activities we could safely do around George. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I would higly recommend going here. The place is beautiful and the hosts are very nice. The garden is also very beautiful. You could use this for an overnight stay. Or stay longer and visit some nice things in the surrounding area.
