Clos 1906

Très jolie maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût et d'élégance au coeur de cet écrin de vignes et à deux pas de ce merveilleux village de Saint Emilion. Chambre spacieuse très bien équipée, salon cosi et petit déjeuner copieux et gourmand, Eduard et David ont su rendre notre séjour très agréable par leur chaleureux accueil et leurs conseils avisés. Tres belle demeure au pied du village de St Émilion. Nous avons été très très bien accueillis. Parking à l’intérieur de la demeure. La chambre Madeleine est très agréable, bien agencée avec une literie très confortable. Bien que donnant sur la rue, il n’y a aucun passage de voiture la nuit donc on est bien au calme au milieu des vignes. Produits de toilette Caudalie. En fait le standing et la décoration intérieure font penser un peu à un hotel de charme. Transats dans le jardin à disposition autour de la piscine pour se reposer en fin de journée. Très agréable. Le petit déjeuner pris dans le jardin est de tres bonne qualité. Que des bons produits frais : salade de fruits maison, jus d’orange, jambon, fromage, yaourt maison, gâteau maison si on le souhaite, céréales, pains croissant etc ! Excellent pour démarrer la journée. Un grand merci à Eduard, pour savoir aussi bien accueillir ses hôtes tout en discretion et les conseiller (avant la visite si on lui demande) pour les restaurants et les châteaux à visiter. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre passage chez vous, tres calme, reposant et apaisant. Bonne saison !

Parfait! Très bel accueil. Le lieu est magnifiquement rénové. La chambre est spacieuse, très propre. Le petit-déjeuner très copieux sucré ou salé. Très reposant et proche du centre de St Emilion. Un endroit apaisant avec un accueil irréprochable et à votre écoute.

Wir wurden herzlich von Eduard empfangen. Eduard und sein Team sind sehr aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und haben uns mit guten Tipps von Restaurants, Weindegustationen und Ausflugszielen versorgt. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert. Es fehlte uns an nichts und jeder Wunsch wurde uns von den Augen abgelesen. Wir werden diese Unterkunft mit Freude weiterempfehlen und auf jeden Fall wieder einmal unsere Ferien hier verbringen. Herzliches Dankeschön an Eduard und seinem Team!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Clos 1906. Les chambres sont magnifiques et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Le propriétaire est très gentil, disponible et arrangeant. Nous avons aimé profiter de la piscine (et de sa vue sur les vignes) en fin d’après midi. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!

Clos 1906 is a cosy establishment with beautiful decor, very comfortable rooms, within a lovely quiet situation. David et Eduard are fantastic hosts and lovely people , offering advice and help on anything you might require. The location is great - a 10-15 minute walk into Saint-Emilion itself, and the beautiful scenery of vineyards is lovely for walking around. Highly recommended!

David and Eduard have done a wonderful job! The decor is just the right mix of traditional and modern. The inn is very close to Saint-Emilion. Our room was clean and delightful! Breakfast was excellent as well. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!

Clos 1906 was the absolute best place to start our European vacation! From the moment we walked in after planes..trains.. automobiles, we felt instantly relaxed and taken care of. The care didn't start when we arrived, but even well before! Eduard helped us book all of our winery and dinner reservations for weeks leading up to the trip and everything was beyond amazing. Saint Emilion is a slice of heaven and this special place makes it even better. Our room was an upstairs suite which was WAY bigger than what we expected, with a gorgeous bathroom, tons of space and the most cozy bed to recover from jetlag. I also want to call out David who helped Eduard our last day. He was so so so friendly and sweet, he even gave us tons of recommendations for our last stop and blew us kisses while we left. We stayed at Clos 1906 during our first trip to St. Emillion and it was absolutely perfect. Eduard is the consummate host, genteel and kind, and beyond helpful as we figured out restaurant reservations, winery visits and even how to charge our electric car. The room was large and comfortable with lots of light, high ceilings and nice details like slippers and a coffee maker and an incredible TV platform (rare in Europe) and blazing fast internet (also rare in Europe). Hot water was instant and plentiful. Lovely soaps and lotions in the bathroom. Beautiful breakfast in a lovely breakfast room that's like a cafe. Easy parking. Lovely bedding and comfortable mattress (I'm picky). This compared very favorably to hotels three times the cost on this trip including two Relais & Chateaux properties. This felt more like a luxury hotel than a B&B with zero forced social interaction which is what we usually don't like about B&B's in the USA. Easy 5 minute drive into town or 15 minute walk. Highly recommended. Book this place and start working with Eduard on your restaurant reservations. Thank you Eduard for a delightful stay - we will be back!
