小金旅館(Mini Golden Inns Motel)

Located 15 minutes from the west entrance to Glacier National Park, it was a wonderful choice for our 5-day fall vacation. Because we stayed in the off season, we were upgraded to a family unit, complete with dining table, a great kitchen (dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, micro, stove top, crock pot). The owners paid great attention to little details that made the room both charming and comfortable. We parked right outside our door and the unit was very quiet. During our stay, we ended each day with a sunset photo over McDonald Lake. Returning to our motel felt like coming home at the end of a long, satisfying day.

Die Unterkunft war sehr Sauber und relativ neu renoviert. Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und man kann sich was zum Frühstück mitnehmen. Zudem verleihen sie Kostenlos Bärenspray. Was ich sehr freundlich finde. Sie hat uns sogar gezeigt wie man es benutzt. Es gibt auch einen Laudry Room zu fairen Preisen und einen Getränkeautomat. Gute Entscheidung dieses Motel zu buchen.

Person that checked us in smelled strongly of cigarettes. Thank goodness the room didn’t. Room was quiet and comfortable. We wanted fresh ice before we left in the morning but there was no service in the office or ice machine before 9am. It would have been nice if our room key could have given us access.

My husband and I usually stay at a larger hotel owned by the Park System when we come out to Glacier from PA, so I will admit I was a little hesitant to book anywhere else…but I am SO glad I booked our stay here!! I couldn’t pass up the price and it’s even closer to the park which was an added bonus! The room was nicely remodeled and clean and the woman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful when I asked for change for the laundry, an amazing amenity to have access to on the property. The shower was big and the water was hot which was so wonderful after long hikes. I also tend to overheat at night so the AC was essential! Beds were satisfactory, linens were clean and you get plenty of layers. The only downside I can think of was the walls are thin. We could hear our neighbors shower and some of their conversations. We did not utilize the complimentary breakfast options, so I can’t comment on that. Overall both my husband and I are incredibly satisfied with our 7 night stay and are likely to book again!

The property is in an excellent condition despite the outside looks and only continental breakfast I would come back again and again. Room is extremely clean and everything is well updated, you can tell from the minor details. Unlike our earlier motel, it was wonderful discovery that at this place we can get instant hot water. A convenient grocery store just a hundred feet away. We picked up some good old hot fried chicken for our lunch.

Location is convenient, close to the Glacier National Park. There is a traffic road next to the motel. The staff lady was very helpful to provide us a relative quiet area. As we came early, she let us use an available room for early check in.

This was the best place we stayed in our glacier trip! Although the outside looked a bit scary, Lucinda was awesome and let us borrow bear spray and get some breakfast items the night before since we were leaving so early in the morning (the breakfast was oatmeal,cereal, yogurt, some pastries). We had the room with the kitchenette and it had literally everything we could need (any pots, slow cooker?, plates/bowls, knives/utensils,microwave,mini fridge, sink outside). The bathroom was huge and had a bathsub and it's own sink. The wifi was working well. My friend had never stayed in a motel before and commented it was very clean and large and exceeded her expectations. We definitely would stay here again! I guess we wish the beds were firmer but that's our group's preference.

My wife and I were here for 5 nights with our 2 little dogs. Very quiet, extremely clean and neatly arranged room. Just a few minutes from West Glacier. Very reasonable pet fees and rules. If we ever get to visit GNP again we will stay here!
