Great little stop off point, staff were exceptionally polite.

This was a nice surprise for a high rise hotel. Generous parking friendly staff. On site restaurant. Quick room service and a great view of the city and coastline. Cosy and central to town. Only a little noise. Only complaints are the patio door jams a bit, the elevator is a bit noisy and the lighting is a little dull. They really need some lamps. Otherwise lovely stay looking forward to going back.

I totally recommend staying here then staying anywhere else in Gladstone. From check in, you are welcomed by Nita, who BTW is nothing short then amazing. Quick and easy check in. Has international info readily at hand. She pretty much is your best google while you are here in Gladstone. My room (recently reno) was just spectacular. The sea view was to die for. Watching little to huge ships sail in. At night while the docks are all lit up, is truly beautiful 😍 Mini bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Clean, fresh and comfortable bed!! Ahhhh now the restaurant downstairs, Dimitri’s... I have no words to even come close to describing their culinary menu. I personally would recommend Mezes for a starter👌 Moreton Bay bugs for the main 🤩 Baklava for the dessert ❤ Divine Fine dining at its best! Compliments to the chef and the ladies FOH ❤

The cooktop was very dirty and not cleaned. And the floor and lounge were disgusting. My clothes, feet and socks were all black and stained from walking around on the filthy carpet and sitting on the couch.

The staff were lovely and easy to deal with, unfortunately our room was not clean when we checked in, once we notified front reception they sent someone to fix it.

This is one of the better motels I have stayed at provided by my place of work. Probably more 3 1/2 STARS and that is ok. Motel In great position in city with rooms having good layout 2 air conditioners and harbour views from balcony. Lady at reception for check in was nice and other staff were helpful with parking for our work van. Mini bar and snacks were too expensive as well as room service meals so we didn’t use but location is close to shops, pubs etc. Bathroom was functional but very tired with water damage to cupboards and with a black shower curtain you were showering in the dark in the shower over bath set up. Would stay again

It was centrally located the parking was convenient and the staff where welcoming but we had a room facing Coondoon St and the noise from cars going down the street was very loud and the herd of elephant's above us didnt help.

Tired property needs an upgrade.

After searching for hotels in Gladstone we chose Highpoint for the pool which looked nice and big on the website, and for onsite restaurant. Upon arrival we went to the pool and found it to be green, filthy dirty full of hoses and unusable. We were very upset as it was extreme heat conditions. We explained we had chosen this hotel because of the advertised pool facility and restaurant. Both of which were not usable. The receptionist was very understanding and agreed that it was unsatisfactory and would be refunded. We then had to search for another hotel and walk to find it. THE HOTEL NOW IS CHARGING US FOR ONE NIGHT STAY! Refusing to refund, ignoring our messages.
