Very nice room with good location and facilities. Will book again

Simply put, location, cleanliness, price, but more than anything else, the staff. Huge shout out especially to Diane, and to Liz for making our stay here special. As a Family we have stayed in several McQuade Group hotels in the West of Glasgow over the last 4 years and enjoyed our stay in all (thanks to Joe at KelvinBridge and Lorraine from Embassy also). Whether you're coming for business, pleasure or Family at the Uni, as we did, this should be your first choice. Note: parking around the Byres Road area is damn expensive (Mon - Fri, 8am to 6pm) and only the Embassy Apartments has limited free parking slots. This can be stressful when you first arrive here but the hotel staff will advise you on where to park.....just be ready to pay for parking in case!! We'll be back!!!

Helpful staff and great apartment - both in terms of comfort and space - in a wonderful location. Clean, nice high ceilings that made the bedroom feel airy; a window that opens (hallelujah!), and an equipped kitchen and eating area that allowed us fend for ourselves. Thanks so much; will recommend, and return!

I stayed at city apartments, I work nights, so needed an apartment rather than hotel so I could sleep through the day. This was a great alternative to AirBNB a sort of mix between hotel and house rental. It had a basic kitchen a desk to work from and table area. Perfect. Place was spotless with tea and coffee supplied, short stay, only disappointment is that the shower was electric and not very powerful but that said still very useable and clean. Would definitely use again

I am baffled about how this place gets decent reviews. The location on the West End is great, yes, but we had room #1, the front room with one king sized bed and one single bed. Both beds’ mattresses were SO OLD that the whole top half of both mattresses were lower than your feet. I woke up half way through the night with a headache because all the blood rushed to my head. I switched directions and put my pillow at the feet. The pillows are disgusting old foam pillows, and one of them wasn’t even a pillow — it was some folded material stuffed into a pillow case. We grabbed extra blankets from the closet and they were still dirty from previous people, stuffed into the closet. One had crusties on it, the other smelled like perfume. The bathroom sink was stopped up, hardly draining. We will not stay at City Apartments or any of the McQuade hotels again. We stayed at the Ambassador last year and the beds were old and in disrepair there as well. They REALLY need to invest in new beds and bedding. The only positive is the manager was gracious about refunding the nights that we didn’t stay, so we could get a room elsewhere. It’s a bummer that McQuade owns so many hotels on the West End because decent hotels are hard to come by in that area.

Wonderful people at the front desk. I was originally in Hotel Albion but due to my long stay (6 nights) and fortunate availability of a mini apartment next door at City Apartments, they've upgraded me (I guess they own both places). It was a very spacious room with a large bed, small kitchen (but had everything I needed), a sitting area, and large windows with a nice view of tall trees across the street. Since it's located at the West End area (away form city centre), it was quiet but conveniently located near an underground subway (to get to city centre in about 10 minutes). Also had a lot of restaurants nearby, small grocery stores, etc.

Geweldige locatie, mooie ruime kamer. (3 goede bedden). Op loopafstand van metro (8 min in centrum), supermarkt en pub. Vriendelijke incheck bij naastgelegen hotel. Kortom een echte aanrader voor een weekend Glasgow

寬敞的自助式房間，配有舒適的床。套房內的淋浴間有點小。地理位置優越，位於一條安靜的後街。停車是一個挑戰，但我們找到了一個步行距離內且價格合理的 24 小時停車場。房間設備齊全，有冰箱、爐灶、水壺和微波爐。
