We felt welcomed from the start, the staff is friendly and the grounds are spacious. It's also used as an event space, so you may meet newlyweds at breakfast. A bit of a drive outside of town, but worth it for the relaxed atmosphere & adorable old house

Price is comparable to other historic B&Bs yet this one isn’t historic. The owner & hostess mean well but the grounds are small, the swans are angry, the walls are paper thin, & the breakfast is ok…not chef made. It feels odd sitting with a full house at the kitchen table with no wiggle room while the dining room with separate tables is empty. The area is lovely however; the next door train is a fun sound in the distance. Several nearby parks including Pony Pasture make for some exercise after filling up on the most divine food & service at The Grapevine.

Every part of our stay was exceptional! The house and the property are beautiful, the room we stayed in was spacious, clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, bountiful and full of fun lively conversation! Could not recommend this bed and breakfast more and we will be staying there anytime we're in RVA!

Highly recommend to stay in this beautiful old house with huge garden and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere here. The room and bed were cozy and comfortable and the homemade breakfast alone was worth the trip! The host was so warm and welcoming and has a lot of great tips for trips in the area and beyond. We even got delicious homemade carrot cake for our journey home. Absolutely loved it here and hope to be back for longer next time!

It's a unique place, peaceful but giving a "Gilmore Girls" kind of personal vibe.
Super clean, comfortable, so many small detais everywhere. We will def be back.

A very lovely place to stay. they were very welcoming and accomodating. We had to leave before time for breakfast to be served, so they prepared a bag of food-muffins, fruit and granola bars-to take with us. The garden is beautiful and a lovely place to relax.

We loved this place,so clean...staff was fabulous, Judey was so sweet,and informative about anything we may need,and handed us a key to our room,showed us all yhe accommodations she had prepared for us....and it was just a lovely place that we would recommend to all our friends and family!!!!
