1star hostel not hotel , no bar , no guest lounge. Poor customer service from 2 out of 3 staff . Place looks too run down for a rating . Bed was saggy and room smelt of tobacco . Not a chance of staying here again , total nightmare from start to finish

The Central is a truly budget hotel , the decor is dated and our rooms shower plughole was blocked , we had to bail the tray beore the next person could shower . That being said I found the receptionists polite and apologetic for the many flaws our group encountered . The whole place needs renovation .

Not a 3 star hotel …. Not even 1star On arrival we were greeted by a receptionist asking for an additional deposit for security in case damage or theft from the room . The hotel is a state , dilapidated and worn out old carpets in all areas. Staff not the least bit understanding of our concerns about the state of the building .

Dirty bedding , smelly worn carpet that was just the start of a horrible stay. Customer care is non existent and no refunds for complaints either . Save your money go elsewhere. Read other reviews as wee wish we had done before booking. You have been warned

I m not sure how to start ....... On arrival to what we could only describe as a run down 18th century building next to a couple of curry houses & opposite a late night kebab shop. On entry we found a couple of people beavering away on the phone . After one had finished we gave them the booking name. Low & behold they asked for an additional security deposit . Never ever have I gone somewhere and paid twice with some security thing ... As we were all tired it was not really disputed. When we claimed the,worn put carpeted stairs to our rooms we realised we had stepped back in time . The bedswere lumpy snd stains were visible on the mattresses the sheets,didn't fit and the pillows inside the,pillow cases were stained with what looked like sweat & spilt drinks . Two of our party went downstairs to complain . We found our later that they offered another room but that was even worse with mould around the shower & badly worn carpets .

Extremely dissapointed in the property when we arrived. We did ask about another room... not met with much joy. but due to having to meet friends we didn't have time to look at alternative hotels Not booking anywhere owned by these rip off merchants again

Complete shambles of a hotel chain , should not be allowed to say it’s got more than 1 star rating. Glorified doss house , property is in poor condition and in need of repairs. Staff are not customer orientated with very few customer care skills. I would highly advise that anyone look at all reviews before booking any of this companies accommodations.

Part of a bigger group providing accommodation. Last resort apart from sleeping on a bench in a park. I might have been better off doing that . On arrival greeted by a worn out building with chipped paint , threadbare carpet and particularly unwelcome odour . Asked to see room before paying additional £250 damage deposit ‘not had that added before. Most hotels don’t take a deposit for a room we had already paid for.

And I'm never booking with Roomsbooked again. On arrival asked by reception for room deposit when room charge had already been paid well in advance. The property looked awful , in need of much building work , broken windows , shabby paintwork and wallpaper. Carpet looked like a 1960,s installation... Despite raising concerns, staff only gave us a email address to complain to.
