The hotel doesn't have their own restaurant, the one in the building is operated by a completely different company. Waiters are rude to the guests, not helpful at all. It goes so far that they don't allow guests to sit at the tables that are set with dinner cutlery and wine glasses during breakfast, even though there are no available tables left. The hotel offers vegan and vegetarian options for breakfast, but the restaurant refused to serve such options. If the hotel doesn't have any involvement in what the restaurant does, maybe they should start offering room options without breakfast for a reduced price. Hotel writes that they have laundry service, the catch is that the laundry service chooses what they are going clean. On the laundry list there are options for pants and blazer, but laundry didn't clean it and returned it to me without any explanation. When I asked at the reception for the reason, the receptionist told me that laundry service is a supplier and that the hotel can not do anything about it. This is the last time my colleagues and I are staying in this hotel, since the service is absolutely horrible.

We had an excellent stay here. Everything was good - a comfortable room, very clean, cheerful and helpful young staff, and in a very pleasant location. Gödölló is a charming town, very well laid out in the centre with h benches, trees, and charming activities for children. Very highly recommended.

Nice fine dining in a hotel restaurant. The decor is classical and nice to look at. Menu isn't big, but has all the classics. Chicken Kiev was very good. Juicy and succulent. Schnitzel was well cooked and a big portion. Tirimasu was ok Service is very poor. Grumpy and inpatient. Main dishes around 5000HUF each

We stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding in the palace across the road. This is a main hotel in a regional small town and concentrates on the Hungarian market. They have some staff with some English so you’ll get by. The rooms are good and clean and the beds are comfortable. Ours overlooked a small square with a fine view of the Co-op. There were no other events on so the place was quiet. The buffet breakfasts are aimed at the local market but only the pickiest eaters will go hungry. If you have time to spare there are pleasant walks in parkland across the road and around the palace. I’d have no problems about staying here again.
