奧斯卡主度假村(Oscar on Main Beach Resort)

I took my elderly mum on a break away. From the time we arrived everything was great. From the friendly, knowledable staff, the beautiful spacious unit on 24th floor, the undercover parking and the facilities available we knew we were going to have a great stay. The tram and public transport were close at hand and the units were in great proximity to everything. Tedder Ave offered a variety of good restaurants, shops and a great bakery for all needs. The unit itself was very spacious and well equipped, and the views from every room were different (especially at night when the city lights came on. The beds were so comfortable that you really didn't mind having a sleep in. It rained for a couple of days, but the indoor pool and sp made up for the weather. It was so quiet as well - lovely. We had a loving relaxing time at Oscar on Main and will definitely have a return visit. I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone that wanted to stay on the Gold Coast.

We went to Oscars due to the 5 star reviews. Our apartment (46) was on 13th floor and had a view of ocean. The apartment was definitely not 5 star, it was worn and tired with skirting boards lifting, kitchen cupboards didnt shut, cracks from ceiling down walls, needed a good paint and update things like vanity unit, light switches/power points were hit and miss, the oven you could barely read the temperature as numbers have worn off. The air con is noisy and leaks in between dining room and kitchen necessitating a towel on floor so we didnt slip. The outdoor table should be replaced it was rusty around edges. The floor is uneven and pretty sure if you placed a level on floor it would be up and down. It was visibily not level. I expected a unit that was superb like the reviews. Obviously we could have had a unit that needed repair and renovations and other units are ok. I wouldnt know. The pros were that the location was good near Tedder Avenue and surf club etc. The view was lovely and the sunlounge on the balcony was great. The beds were comfortable. The pools were good and sun lounges plentiful. Cant say I enjoyed the addition of water dragons near pool but again thats a personal thing and cant be helped if theyre there. I just do not like them. The maintenance people were good. The tv in 2nd bedroom was not connected and the fridge had a broken shelf which was attended to and replaced expediently. We had a good five days at Main Beach but for the price, I expected the unit to be in much better condition than what the unit was. We have stayed in far superior apartments for less money. I wouldnt go back to that unit. Not until it had some work on it. It would also be ideal to have included in compendium where groceries can be purchased, restaurant recommendations etc as we had to continually ask the poor lady in reception. She was very kind to inform us but it would be good to have the information in a welcome letter or such.

What a amazing place, four of us stayed from 9th to 18th Feb on floor 21 in a 2 bedroom apartment, view was amazing and the room was just what we needed, great location with cafes and restaurants just a short walk, used both pools and tennis court, booked the BBQ for a Saturday morning BBQ with the family, was great. Had a car park downstairs, thanks to the management team to helping us have a great stay, will be back,

Great comfy beds and pillows ,clean unit , good area walking distance to beach and shops. Nice and roomy. Staff at reservations great ,helpful . Stayed 3 nights ,no food on premises but easy access to restaurants and coffee shops .No need for car only to visit elderly parents

Great location, good facilities, managers helpfull and easy to deal with, we were upgraded to a 2BR superior ocean view which was huge. Apartment was very clean and prepared ahead of time. Kids love the 2 pools, spa and sauna facilities. Close to restaurants and beach

During our stay in Oscar on Main resort, We had the privilege of experiencing a truly delightful and memorable visit. Right from the very moment we stepped foot into the hotel, the staff warmly welcomed us with open arms, setting the stage for an exceptional stay. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, highlighting the team's genuine enthusiasm in making our time there as enjoyable as possible. Their professionalism and amiability immediately made me feel right at home. What struck me most about this esteemed establishment was its impeccable cleanliness. The housekeeping personnel deserve commendation for their relentless efforts in maintaining a spotless environment. This further assured me that hygiene and cleanliness were top priorities for this hotel. My accommodations was immaculate tidiness .It made our holidays so enjoyable. The staff continuously went above and beyond to fulfil our request or inquiry. Not only were they readily available to assist at all times. We thanks Dave and his staff for his help to have fantastic time.

Amazing apartment, there was only the 2 of us but the apartment was big enough for a family to be really comfortable. Views to the ocean from the balcony, comfortable couch and bed were some of the highlights. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful reception staff.
