阿雷納海洋 SPA 酒店(Arena Mar Hotel and Spa)

Commençons par le positif : La chambre. Elle est spacieuse, avec une bonne literie. Un bureau et un canapé complètent le mobilier ; un pouf mériterait d’être remplacé par une chaise. Voilà c’est tout ! Passons au négatif : tout le reste. Le hall de l’hôtel est froid, inexpressif. Pas un fauteuil pour se relaxer, seuls des poufs en plastique et des banquettes inconfortables sont à disposition. Ce qui sert de bar n’engage pas à consommer. Le personnel ne sourit pas, semble craindre quelque chose ou quelqu’un. La restauration ou plutôt ce qui est proposé pour se nourrir, est peu ragoutante : de la viande bouillie, resservie le soir ou le lendemain sous une autre forme. Elle n’est pas diversifiée : poulet et porc. Parfois quelque chose annoncée comme étant du poisson. Peu de fruits à disposition hormis des pommes vertes impossibles à peler. La boisson alcoolisée locale au bar permettrait de remplacer le glyphosate dans mon jardin. Bref ce fut ma plus mauvaise expérience depuis que je voyage ; ce dernier étant le 61ème ! Je déconseille fortement cet établissement

I was transfered from another hotel and couldn't have asked to have been looked after any better, the staff are wonderful and happy to help. You are a 2 minute walk to the beach, with lots of bars and shops on hand. Valya works behind the reception bar and is a treasure, and an asset to the hotel. The food is buffet style and plenty of choice and decent open hours, the staff are all friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and would come back again.

We stayed here at the end of September for 5 nights. The hotel was quiet due to it being the end of their season which meant a lot of the local shops, bars and restaurants has closed (no fault of the hotel, we didn’t do our research and assumed the season would continue into October - something to be mindful of if you’re booking in 2024). The food and spa were the highlights of our holiday. The spa staff were super friendly and helpful and we made sure to make use of the facilities and treatments on offer. Would recommend the Turkish bath, it was incredible! The price of the treatments were so cheap compared to the U.K. you can pay cash or card which is handy too. The food was so flavoursome and we had something different each night. If you’re a fussy eater or expecting 20+ difference choices this isn’t the place for you. There was enough choices but each dish was delicious and the cakes were little mouthfuls of heaven. Overall the hotel was very modern and clean and is in a great location to walk to the beach. Even with it being quiet we felt extremely safe strolling around. Down by the beachfront there are some lovely shops and bars, it’s a lovely easy stroll. We took the 409 bus into Varna (approx 45 mins journey) and hired electric scooters to explore. We’d recommend wandering the garden, it’s beautiful and lots for kids to do. The staff were generally very helpful, a big shout out to Vanka (I hope that’s how you spell it) on reception who was extremely helpful in trying to sort an issue with our transfer back to the airport. Only negative experienced were the cleaners were slightly rude and staff weren’t always at the bar around the pool, we imagine this was down to it being out of season. We would definitely return to the hotel and make the most of the spa and facilities again next year.

Great hotel very modern and clean and fresh not a very old building. I stayed there because the hotel next door had booked me in but was closing for the season mid week . So they arranged my accommodation at this wonderful Area Mar great location great food all staff very very friendly and helpful can’t fault the place great Ukrainian bar lad and young lady thank you

We spent 6 days at this hotel with family and child. Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good food and lots of it. It's a great experience. A good place for groups of friends but also for families with children. I noticed a very good organization. I also work in tourism and I can appreciate it when employees do their best with tourists to have a good time.

A very nice hotel, the golden thime on our vacantions. The beach is nice, the service is the Best, Thank's to Elena the manager of the SPA center - he is so nice & helpful. We have the Best massages in our vacantions

Very nice hotel and surrounding area Friendly staff, good rooms clean and tidy good food well prepared and presented,friendly staff good entertsinment ( we went 30th December to 2nd January ) buffet food was really full and good selection ,no a la carte available, but it was OK Great sauna and facilities reasonably priced Overall ,we were very satisfied

Overall not a good experience. Just as you arrive, the negative things start to happen. They wouldn’t let us park in the hotel parking because “there weren’t free spots” although there were. They have said it was for other guests and sent us to park in parking area which was not near the hotel and was more expensive. Next, the floor in the room had stains, asked them to clean it, they faked the cleaning of it, still dirty. Shower is awful, rusty with no pressure and with stinky water. The same stinky water you get at the water machine in the restaurant or the pool bar. Food quality was very bed and oily. Fruits were not even washed/rinsed and we with some other tourists asked them to clean them, but they have brought them back still dirty. Coffee is mostly water tasting and the quality of the drinks/alcohol served at the bars was poor. Otherwise, the pool area was ok. In addition, for what it worths, the WiFi connection was also bad. Overall, wouldn’t recommend this place.

L’hôtel est en piteux état, il n’est pas entretenu et résultat : beaucoup de services proposés ne sont en réalité pas dispo. Pas de restaurant à la carte. Pas de piscine intérieure. Réseau WIFI médiocre. Salle de sport dont les murs sont moisis et dont 4 appareils sur 5 ne fonctionnent pas. Restauration horrible !!! Très peu de choix, très peu de goût et c’est très redondant. Vous avez à peine le temps de finir de manger qu’on vous retire votre assiette. Impression de déranger… Hôtel très bruyant, merci à tous les jeunes soûlards (allemands) pour cela. Aucun respect ou savoir vivre. Ça défile en criant dans les couloirs toute la nuit. Très bruyant également car juste en face se situent boîtes de nuits et bar à *****tease. Les transats et les magnifiques parasols pepsi/sprite sont dans un état lamentable et sales, tout comme la piscine et ses abords. Impossible de profiter d’un moment reposant à la piscine : du matin au soir ils diffusent un semblant de musique club/techno TRÈS (TRÈS) fort. Le personnel est désagréable, ne dit pas bonjour et ne décroche pas un sourire. Les jus de fruits sont fait avec 98% d’eau. Les cocktails contiennent une MONSTRUEUSE quantité d’alcool bas de gamme, si bien qu’ils ont tous le même goût horrible et qu’ils donnent mal à la tête dès le 1er verre. La clim laisse à désirer. Les masseuses ne doivent pas être qualifiées, elles sont très brusques, font mal et cerise sur le gâteau : une d’elle a éternué et j’ai reçu ses postillons sur le dos. Quel pur moment de détente… J’oubliais : que cela soit au bar de la réception ou celui de la piscine, on vous sert dans des gobelets, vraiment pas digne d’un 4 étoiles et vraiment pas écolo… Cet hôtel kitsch est fait pour les soûlards/fetards allemands, au détriment du reste de la clientèle qui n’est vraiment pas considérée… Je déconseille fortement et n’arrive vraiment pas à comprendre les avis positifs.
