莊園海灣酒店(Manor on the Bay)

Kammer ohne Fenster! Die Eingangstüre zum Zimmer ist auch das Fenster für die Aussicht. Wenn die Tür geschlossen ist, sieht man durch dieses Sprossenfenster ( Türe) kaum etwas. Kam uns eher wie eine muffige Abstellkammer vor! Die Bilder sind von bereits renovierten Zimmern mit Aussicht / vermietet wird aber alles ! Da alles belegt war, haben wir kein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Also Achtung beim buchen - keinesfalls LuxuryRoom mit Ozean View Nr. 6 buchen … allerdings gibt es bestimmt noch einige solcher Zimmer ! Einfach schlimm ! Zum Frühstücken muss man eine genaue Uhrzeit festlegen und das Frühstück nach einer Stunde beendet haben . Dann kommen, aufgrund Platzmangel die nächsten dran. Ein Genuss war es mit Sicherheit nicht . Wir sind nach dem ersten Tag wieder angereist! Eins muss man dem Hotel aber anrechnen - sie haben eine kostenfreie Stornierung angeboten. Auch waren sie in großen und ganzen sehr nett !

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour au Manor on the Bay. Les hôtes se sont montrés d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité exceptionnelles, donnant volontiers conseils et services efficaces. L’endroit est idyllique, la plage se trouve à quelques pas et il est facile de se rendre à pied dans les petits restaurants du coin. Les chambres sont très bien aménagées, spacieuses et claires, les petits déjeuners sont délicieux. Le soir, nous nous trouvons au premier plan pour admirer les couchers de soleil sur la baie. Un endroit magique et chaleureux qui permet de rayonner alentours pour découvrir les merveilles de la région. Nous avons hâte d’y revenir! Famille Liengme et Dufresne

Stayed in the family suite on February as part of a longer trip in SA, the room was incredible, beautifully decorated and set out for a family with young children (I say this as it’s bunk beds in the room), Everything is well maintained and you can tell very well cared for a small but nice little pool to cool off, and the breakfast is amazing all made to order with a selection on buffet bits while it’s being cooked… the croissants are to die for. good location right across a small road from the beach and easy and safe to walk down to the bay where there is a good selection of a few restaurants and shops there is something for everyone but not loads. We didn’t have a car but I would recommend having one for this area having said that we got around quite easily via Uber when we wanted to get out of the area, we went to the spier winery and Cheetah outreach quickly and cheaply. After receiving some sad news from home and somewhat distracted we made a silly mistake by leaving our passports in the safe and didn’t realise until we were 3 hours away, we called Olivier who promptly removed them and took care of them until we could get to them also delaying their evening out so we could get them collected so really went above and beyond… Thank you 😊

What a wonderfully relaxing stay to end our South African adventure. Olivier and Yamin were welcoming hosts, who were attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is set in a great location in front of the beach and the garden and patio are a perfect place to sit and enjoy the view - especially the sunset. We chose a luxury room with ocean view, which was beautifully styled, spacious and with an extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Thank you Olivier and Yamin.

What a nice surprise ! What a pleasure to admire the sunset from our room, facing the ocean. The establishment is very elegant, the rooms have all the necessary comfort, with excellent beds. We enjoyed our morning jog along the ocean and the superb breakfast served until 10 a.m. We will come back and stay longer!

Beautiful accomodation, perfect location and the most wonderful hosts. Spascious and delicate roms, great polo-area and 50 meters from the beach. The restaurants in Gordons Bay is only a 5 minute walk away. We hope to return as soon as possible. Thank you for 10 wonderful dags!!

Wish we had stayed longer at this beautiful guest house, a prime loaction, a few steps from the beach! We could not have chosen a better place for our stay: the scenery with beautiful gardens, fantastic sunset views, nice spacious and furnished rooms with everything you need incl. fridge, the owners Olivier and Yamin did everthing to make our stay so fantastic, welcoming us like we were family. And such a nice treat to have sherry served right after we arrived, so we could enjoy the sunset from our nice big terrace. Thanks again for making our stay so memorable, we do hope to come back, and we do recommend your guest house and fantastic hospitality to everyone.

Manor On The Bay is absolutely beautiful ! Lovely room, comfy bed and stunning views. Very peaceful at night so we slept very well. Breakfast was lovely; continental style as well as cooked breakfast; very good quality too. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The beach is across the road so ideal for chilling out. Secure parking on site. Our room had air conditioning, bath robes, coffee/tea making facilities, hairdryer and a safe plus the added bonus of a fridge. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we are visiting Gordon's Bay.
