We reserved a suite in Miras hotel for three nights, but had to leave the hotel next day because of a moldy smell and high humidity in the room that made our stay inside very unpleasant (for a person with lung or breathing problems even a short presence in that room could be an issue). Ventilation in the room appeared to be very poor despite the fan in the bathroom working all night and windows kept open. We ended up moving a matrass from a bed next to the windows to get more fresh air for the night sleep.
Another disappointment upon arrival was the roads closure around the hotel for repaving. Since we were travelling by car, it appeared really difficult to get to the place and find parking spot. Understandably, this repair was beyond the hotel owners control, but certainly we could be warned about this potential problem in advance, especially because I had mentioned that we will need a parking spot when making hotel reservation. In fact, hotel staff contacted me a few times before the arrival suggesting to book a balloon ride. Also at the time of arrival no help was offered with the luggage that needed to be carried uphill and with finding a parking spot nearby. To be fair, the receptionist did finally help when I specifically asked him about this. Also, when leaving the next morning we got help with getting our car close to the hotel entrance.
Sekran and his team is the best. He is so attentive and helpful all the time with a big smile. Our stay was wonderful, everything was perfect. The day before we arrived, he reached out and helped us organized the balloon flight. Location is perfect. On our last day, he helped organised our transfer to Erciyes. We particularly love the jazzicci in the cave. We highly recommend Miras hotel.

Right upon checkin Serkan, made sure that our first hotel stay in Cappadocia was memorable. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Given that this is a cave hotel, it’s only natural not to expect too many modern amenities but basic and necessary things like a clean washroom and beds as well as friendly service and a delightful breakfast made this a fantastic stay for us. Special mention for the lady that managed the kitchen and Serkan who was at the reception nearly 24*7. Views from the room were fantastic and the rooms were well insulated and heated to keep the Dec cold out. We would be happy to return to the same hotel the next time we are in the Cappadocia region. The only thing I would hope they improve on are a few extra shelves in the cupboards and a few extra electrical outlets (a family traveling with multiple devices will struggle to charge them). One more thing - the photos on the internet are very much representative of the hotel rooms.

difficult to find
daytime reception staff is rude and not helpful
We had arranged hot air balloon and was asked to wait at 4:40 am. All hotel guests woke up early and waited at the front of hotel for a coach. But we kept waiting till 5:20 am without any coach to pick us up. We tried to contact the guy through WhatsApp but no response till 5:30 pm. He said the hot air balloon was cancelled due to weather condition !!! Then we went back to sleep AGAIN.
