索莫霍夫酒店(Hotel Sommerhof)

Positiv: Sehr, sehr nettes Personal Leckeres Essen Sehr umfangreiche Weinkarte Saftbrunnen Zimmer sauber und gemütlich Moderner Essensraum Kindersauna Negativ: Whirlpool für mein Empfinden zu kalt. Habe darin gefroren bei einer Außentemperatur von 8 Grad. Von 3 vorhandenen Plätzen, gingen die Düsen nur bei einem. Außenbecken für unser Empfinden auch zu kalt temperiert. Man sagte uns es wären 30 Grad. Für uns war es zu kalt. Die vorhandenen Düsen im sehr kleinen Innenbereich des Pools waren nicht funktional. Schade. Von den vorhandenen Düsen im Außenbereich ging leider auch nur eine einzige.

We stayed with our 2 kids and despite the inclement weather, had a great stay. All staff were lovely. Food was delicious and that kindly catered to our fussy vegetarian daughter. The outdoor pool was fun for swimming in the rain! The Softplay, table football, air hockey etc were enjoyed by all.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Vom Kellner bis zum den Gastgebern alle sehr bemüht und freundlich. Sehr gutes Essen und sehr großzügige Auswahl beim Frühstück. Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Parkplatz kostenlos Ideal für Familien und Kinder.

Just got back from a fantastic few days in Gosau, The team at the Sommerhof really looked after us from the minute we arrived. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The pool and spa facilities were great. My favorite part of the stay was the food and wine, great breakfast and dinner and a superb selection of wine on offer. The ski locker just opposite the main lift was a nice touch. I will definitely stay here again.

Wir haben sehr entspannte und schöne Tage am Sommerhof verbracht. Die Kinder liebten den Aufenthalt im Bällebad und auch im Kinderclub Zimmer. Das Essen war vorzüglich. Einen besonderen Komfort bietet auch das Skidepot direkt neben der Piste. Eventuell waren die Decken etwas zu warm, auch für einen Winterurlaub. ;)

Wir haben entspannte Tage in dem gepflegten Hotel verbracht, reichhaltige gute Küche, sehr freundliches Personal - soweit, so gut. Lediglich von der Kinderbetreuung hatten wir uns mehr Angebote erwartet, mehr Initiativen von Seiten der Kinderbetreuung, damit sich die Kinder schneller kennen lernen, mehr Gemeinsschaftsspiele. Die im Prospekt erwähnten Aktionen wie Schnitzeljagd, Schatzsuche, Pizzabacken o.ä. fand in unserer Zeit leider nicht statt, die wenigen Kreativangebote blieben fast unbemerkt, da wäre mehr "Werbung" oder Verlagerung der Aktionen in den großen Garten vielleicht motivierend gewesen. Am bzw. im Pool kann es ein wenig eng werden.

The owners of this hotel belong to the most impertinent and unkind people I've ever met in my life and during all my travels. After my phone has been stolen and could be located in this hotel, I asked the owner Erni Waller kindly if it has been found and tried to call it, so I might hear it ring somewhere. Instead of showing some understanding for this situation, she told me in an arrogant way this was my problem and not hers and told us to leave her hotel immediately. Her husband is even worse. While we were respecting their rules and waited for the police in front of the hotel, he came towards us and insulted and threatened us - completely out of nowhere and without any reason. The owner might appear friendly to guests who bring money, but how they treat you if you have any kind of problem will show you, how foul they really are. There are lots of other good hotels around in this area. Don't hassle with these kind of people.
