Birthday surprise weekend for my wife and what a perfect choice! Close to Port Elizabeth ... our hosts Mike & Fay made our stay unforgetable ...Gift our chef spoiled us with awsome food ... a boat available for a river cruise ... canoes ... bass fishing .. open spaces for walking & cycling - game drives ... perfect place to rest & make special memories

Our experience at this lodge was hands down wonderful. The room was spacious&clean and had an amazing view to the river. The nature around was beautiful. The whole experience felt really private. We booked a guided tour and a game drive which was also very private. The ranger who ran the activities was simply wonderful. Shared his deep knowledge in flora & fauna, we really enjoyed our time with him. We saw a variety of animals, not only on the guided tours but as well as just walking around property. The value for money is just insanely good. +The food was delicious! Best wishes to Dean & Fay who really cared to make our time at the lodge memorable. Would love to come back. Thank you!

We love everything about African Safari Lodge, from the views, to the well-appointed rooms, the friendly, excellent and super responsive staff. We explored the roads on our bicycles to our hearts' content and love the challenges, the closeness to nature and the game. This one is definitely 'on repeat'.

My partner and I stayed at African Safari lodge 2 weeks ago and we are already ready to book again! It was such an incredible experience. You really feel as if you are apart of nature at African Safari Lodge. Definitely recommend the weekend retreat.

We had the most amazing stay at African Safari Lodge. The location is perfect and was so beautiful with the river being full after the rains. The lodge was spacious and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Gift was there to welcome us and he was most helpful. We really hope that we get to visit again.

Excellent accommodation in close proximity of Port Elizabeth. Friendly staff, and knowledgeable hunting guides Lovely farm with large variety of animals. Location of the lodge on the river bank makes for a unforgettable experience

Great venue, and just a wonderful place to chill and recharge. The staff were absolutely amazing, and the views from our deluxe suite were awe inspiring, to say the least. We can highly recommend this wonderful venue, and will be back soon to enjoy the comforts and tranquility that makes this place feel like home.

What an awesome place to be. The a**osphere it out of this world. It's tranquility is above and beyond excellent. My stay with my daughters during her graduation day. Our Champagne breakfast was lit. The view from our room to the beautiful dam was out of this world.

You will have a very warm welcome and stay in a very lovely remote area. It is quiet and beautiful nature which is surrounding you. We did not have to worry about anything - Dean and Gift ( who is a very good cook) took excellent care of us.
