The property is centrally located, but away from the hustle and bustle - nestled away in a very quiet street. Comfy, spotlessly clean and welcoming. Suzanne was the perfect host. We arrived late in the evening and the self-checkin experience was easy and quick!. Thank you for making our visit to Makhanda so very special.

The accomodation is in a perfect location with breath taking views. The room was clean and the quality of the bed linen and towels is great. You get the best of both worIds, a location with a country feel but within a short distance drive to town. The area is safe and if you are a keen jogger/walker; you have an opportunity to explore the area by foot whilst enjoying the fresh air. The accomodation offered everything that I need to ensure a comfortable stay.

We hadn't driven through Grahamstown in many years, ensure you buy your food etc before hand the town is not in a great condition at all . A Stones Throw Accommodation fortunately in a decent location and Suzanne was very helpful.

They accommodated us at short notice and where very helpfull. The cottages we stayed in where clean and tidy at all times and it felt like we were on holiday Recommend A Stones Throw accommodation for anyone...best in Grahamstown!

Lovely view and farm feeling just outside of town. Nice, clean rooms with everything you need. Very safe. Staff very friendly and went out of their way to see to our needs. Cleaning service every day was very good.

The accommodation (Indlu) is great but the bathroom is a squeeze and very uncomfortable, especially for a big person like me. The loft gets very cold in the morning and very hot in the afternoon (aircon)

A Stone's Throw in Grahamstown has warm and friendly staff. They are always willing to help and go the extra mile for their customers.

Ohhh this place is so beautiful. They have a lovely view of the mountains and sun set from the balcony is spot on. Communication and the service from the owner and staff was also very good. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The reception and management were courteous and cheerful, which made check-in a breeze, especially with the clear instructions provided for self-check-in. However, there are a couple of points I'd like to highlight for your attention. Firstly, while the accommodation itself was good, I found the room/rondavel to be a bit cramped. Additionally, the greatest discomfort I experienced during my stay was the heat in the room. The fact that the outer wall faces the afternoon sun made the room extremely hot, especially when the outside temperature reached 30 degrees Celsius. I believe that in the summer months, a more adequate fan or air conditioner would greatly improve the comfort of guests staying in that room. This detail significantly marred an otherwise enjoyable stay. The rooms are very close to each other, it is difficult not disturb ones neighbours when arriving or departing at unsocialable hours Lastly, I have a suggestion regarding the provided instant coffee. While it's appreciated, I couldn't help but notice that the quality of the coffee was not up to par. It might be worth considering offering a higher quality instant coffee to enhance the overall guest experience.
