Can’t imaging such perfect place just next to the Alhambra Palace. And the staffs are all nice!

Recentemente abbiamo avuto il piacere di pranzare in questo incantevole posto, apprezzando molto l’atmosfera del posto, in mangiare ottimo e non abbiamo nemmeno aspettato tanto. La ragazza che ci ha atteso all’entrata è stata gentilissima e cordiale. E poi c’è Angelo, il suo nome dice tutto. Mi sentivo proprio a mio agio, mi incantavo dal suo comportamento con l’altro personale e il modo con cui si adagiava con i clienti. Insomma un’ oasi di pace gustandoci quello che abbiamo preso. Lo consiglio vivamente.

La location est incroyable, dans l’Alhambra ! Vous pouvez y entrer en voiture pour laisser les bagages mais il faut ensuite retourner se garer sur le parking public . Pas de restauration à l’hôtel le soir , parador voisin mais cher ou Terrazza de l Alhambra palace (que nous avons testé et ne conseillons pas ) Nous étions en chambre familiale pour 4 personnes et l’ensemble était charmant !

We were very happy that we chose to stay at this Hotel. Staying onsite allowed us to get to the 8:30 am booking very easily and it was lovely to have a place to rest from the heat of the afternoon. We visiting the Nasrid Palace in the morning, followed by the Generalife. Then we were ready for a nap. We visited the Alcazba about 1 hour before closing, watched sunset and there were no crowds at all. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The garden restaurant is absolutely lovely and is such a nice place to take a break (I recommend it even if you aren't staying here). The room is small - but many places we stayed in Spain had small rooms. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet at night. If you want 5 stars - go to the Parador. We thought this hotel was absolutely lovely and a good price, considering its location. It was lovely to walk around the grounds in the evening. You can't access any of the gardens but it's lovely in the morning and evening when the crowds have gone just to wander around the public areas. We got a little lost trying to figure out how to drive up to the hotel to drop off our bags, but we figured it out on the 2nd try. Then, we parked our car at the bottom of the hill in the public parking. We walked into town each night for dinner, which was lovely. The walk back up the hill after dinner was well lit and very pretty. If I was to do this again, I would choose to book the ticket that allowed a night visit of the Nasrid Palace, and then the other areas the next day (just my opinion).

Voy a opinar sobre el restaurante. Tiene un coqueto y fresco patio donde poder descansar,comer y tomar algo fresco después de toda una mañana visitando la Alhambra el día del Pilar. Nos atendió Angelo. Y nos aconsejo fenomenal sobre el que elegir para comer. Así como los postres. Un reducto de paz y tranquilidad. Totalmente recomendable.

Lo mejor, la ubicación. Hotel simple ubicado en el recinto de la Alhambra. Buena atención. Desayuno a la carta. Lindo patio andaluz para desayunar o comer un snack a mediodía. No hay ascensor. Reservamos una « habitación doble premium con vistas » Nos asignaron una habitación en el 1er piso. Por ser en 1er piso, las vistas eran a la Calle Real de la Alhambra. La cama era muy angosta, aprox de 1.30 m de ancho. Almohadas de baja calidad y más grandes que la cama. El colchón muy incómodo. Si esta es una habitación « premium » no me imagino lo que será la standard…. Muy caro para lo que ofrece.

Déjeuner dans le patio de l'hôtel et sa fraîcheur réparatrice. Inespéré dans la fournaise du mois d'août. Très beau cadre pour reprendre des forces avant la suite de la visite. Cuisine simple et bonne, pour tous les goûts. Accueil très agréable et service efficace. Merci.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming and unique hotel, which I can only describe as "nestled" within the Alhambra grounds. The staff were exceptionally warm and hospitable, and very competent. They accommodated my quirkiness with grace, made invaluable suggestions, and helped arrange transportation, etc.. The breakfasts in the courtyard were delightful as was an afternoon glass of local wine (actually two) that I enjoyed there as well. My room was comfortable and had what I needed. I recommend Hotel América highly... but you do need to be prepared for an uphill hike returning to the hotel from most places in Granada that are not Alhambra (or just take a taxi), but the hike is worth it!

Comida sencilla y casera muy, muy rica, precio un poco elevado justificado por la belleza del patio y el lugar en el que se encuentra, es raro comer tan bien en lugares tan turísticos. Probad la tortilla de patata y los pimientos rellenos de bacalao
