Fairfield Inn & Suites Grand Rapids

Very nice room. Pleasant experience. The desk people were also nice. All around, it was a good experience

Overall the hotel was fine. We didn't use the pool but it looked very clean. The hot tub was closed, thats too bad. The fitness center was perfect. The breakfast station was a bit messy. Maybe they were understaffed, but they seemed to have trouble keeping the counters clean and the food adequately stocked. Other than that, the room was clean and the customer service was really quite exceptional.

I loved how there was a ton of dining options nearby. There was a lot of sit down options as well as quick fast food places. I loved how close the mall and movie theater was. The hotel itself was ok. The lobby looked nice, but our room was just average. They’re pretty small, and the TV are really tiny. I guess the TV doesn’t matter to some people but when you’re staying for multiple days it’s kind of a bigger deal. Also, the bottom of the shower liner and curtain was disgusting. Very dirty and didn’t look clean.

Decent hotel but kind of noisy. You can hear everything in the hallways and outside (I was on the 3rd floor). The bed and desk chair were comfortable. Bathroom had a bad urine odor and there were cobwebs in the corners. Fridge worked well. Shower dripped all night and the toilet would occasionally run. Silly string on the wall also so it seemed like they do not pay attention to those kind of details.

First room the tv didn’t work, so we were assigned another room with no problems. Sat down to get unpacked and found body fluids on the foot stool keeping this (PG). Went to front desk to find another hotel, they didn’t give me any problems. On the way out a lady said they have complaints of bed bugs. I was so glad we left. Went to the Drury Inn and Suites Hotel. Exceptional service and hotel. My advice do not stay here!!!!

The shower was completely backed up, the body wash bottle was empty and there was only a single, small bar of soap to use for your hands and body, tissue box was empty, mold around the base of the bathtub, etc. Parking was easy, breakfast wasn’t bad, and it was in a good location with tons of restaurants.

Our door to room didn’t close tight unless u pushed..had to ask for reg coffee in room only decafe available ..had to ask for clean towels daily..jacuzzi was out of order. But people were wonderful helpful and friendly..

The Staff was wonderful and very polite and helpful! The facilities needed some TLC as there were several 'little' things needing attention. I have a long history in hotel work so I see more than your average customer, but there still should be care to the rooms.
