I had the honour to stay at this beautiful place on earth for about 11 days for a Yoga teacher training immersion. The landscape is absolutely stunning. Almost steppe-like after a long dry summer, with a breathtaking view over the vast land of Alentejo. Still there's loads of shades of tall grown indigenous oak trees around and more planted shade to be grown over the next years. The circular pool is a refreshing gem and was thankfully used in between classes. Especially I enjoyed the nighttime walks to the Yoga-Shala, when all is quiet, the moon and the stars shining a light along the pathways. The houses are designed exquisitely and everything was super-well equipped and organised, in a way it really shows nature is respected and still the most important element here. Also catering of plant--based meals was delicious, always freshly cooked, with love and savour. The owner herself was preparing the lovely dishes together with an adorable team, which felt like coming home every time after the practices and workshops. Help was provided as soon as we needed, may it be laundry, cleaning or other questions and special needs. I am grateful to have been able to visit this place and would absolutely recommend a visit, with a group of friends, family or for a retreat and hope myself to come back there some day in the future. Obrigada de coração.
