Cons: Non responsive to messages. We requested for an early check in- no response. We asked up to make up twin beds in one of our rooms, no response.
Check in was also not the smoothest. We were just handed the keys and left to find our own rooms in a maze of a hotel. Would be nice if they had a dedicated check in desk and help with luggage etc and advise on where to park and how to access your room.
Pros: The hotel was lovely and rooms were comfortable. Location was idyllic as well, surrounded by hills and farms and easy walk to Grasmere Village.
Staff in the dining rooms/ bar was great as well.
