Lovely place, lovely staff, there were a few condition issues, which we discussed with the staff and we were assured these would be addressed. We had a lovely stay.

The location is excellent in the centre of Grasmere. We were greeted by an eccentric older gentlemen who seemed in a rush. Scribbled down some details, took our payment balance, gave us our room key and that was that. Not even shown to our room. Even had to ask what floor it was on. Bed was stupidly high off the floor, there’s also a step just inside the door that was easy to fall down, no lock on the glass door to the bath room that didn’t fit either. And no blackout curtain, so all the light came in around the wooden blind early morning. The breakfast is one of the most disappointing we have ever come across, so much so that we paid to have breakfast in a local restaurant on day 2. We’ll be back to Grasmere for definite but it want be at the Moss Organic.

Fantastic stay at Moss Grove Organic. Central location in Grasmere, close to the many cafes and restaurants. A really nice room at the top of the building with a very comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with a great shower and spa bath. All of this and a lovely buffet breakfast to make it even better. We’ll definitely be booking to stay again.

Whatever noun or verb you choose this hotel is 5 star all round. Service, ambience, cleanliness ,friendly staff including the man ( Vince ? ) who even found a sewing kit to assist a lady in distress! Breakfast fab too. Nowhere better in the area, can't wait to return.
