冰川精品酒店(Boutique Hotel Glacier)

Superbe expérience dans ce petit hôtel à Grindelwald. Proche du centre et de la gare mais suffisamment en retrait pour être au calme. Personnel professionnel et agréable, décoration juste parfaite, petit spa limité à 10 personnes très agréable, chambre spacieuse, confortable, moderne et propre mais surtout le petit plus : un jacuzzi privé sur le balcon avec vue sur les montagnes ! Je relève aussi que les chambres sont très bien isolées et c'est super agréable. Le restaurant est très bon et on est sur un menu gastro le soir. Je n'ai qu'une envie c'est d'y revenir mais il faut quand même y mettre le prix !

We visited Hotel Glacier for our summer holiday in August 2023 and it was fantastic. We were warmly greeted and given our room keys. We went up the lift to our room on the third floor: we paid a little extra to have a view of the Eiger and were so glad! It was so beautiful waking up to the view and sitting on the balcony looking out at it on an evening. The breakfast was delicious - we looked forward to it every day! They served hot breakfasts with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, rosti, a selection of fruits (dried and fresh), granola and yoghurts, breads and pastries and a self-service coffee/tea machine! The food at the hotel was excellent quality, too. We didn’t do the fine dining but did eat at the hotel lounge bar 4 times during our stay and every time was incredible and so tasty! The staff were wonderful and greeted everyone with respect. They were happy to recommend walks, talk to you about local things to do or recommend other restaurants. Our room was spacious and very well designed. It was cleaned every day to a high standard. We asked for some softer pillows as the ones we had were too firm for us and they were happy yo help. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Grindelwald. It is a 10 minute walk to Grindelwald Terminal and a 15 minute walk to Grindelwald village (but please note it is up a steep hill). A wonderful stay - thank you!

Verbleven met vrienden in the glacier express apartment. Genoeg ruimte voor allemaal, schoon, grote keuken en elke slaapkamer een balkon om van het uitzicht te genieten. Verder op loopafstand van de terminal en 20 minuten van het centrum, veel wandelmogelijkheden en door de guest card korting in het sportcentrum. Ook aardig personeel, die graag helpen. Overall een plek waar je graag een vakantie zit.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Glacier! We were greeted warmly with a welcome drink on arrival. Staff were all very friendly, room was very clean and beautiful. A special thank you to Miguel and Zadora who went over and above on service for our family! Food was delicious and the good bye cookies were a nice touch for our train ride. I especially loved the free laundry area which was so appreciated during our stay!

Just returned from a 3-night stay at the Glacier. This was a great hotel with wonderful staff. Pros: Rooms were clean & comfortable, complimentary wifi, coffee, tea, and water provided. Would recommend splurging for one of the hot tub suites. All staff we encountered were friendly and professional. They each wear a name tag indicating all of the different languages they speak. Special shout out to Christian who figured out how to make an excellent martini despite never doing so before! (the bartender had not yet arrived) He also helped arrange the shuttle for us when the front desk was busy. Breakfast was consistently good with the buffet area kept clean & stocked. We tried the tasting menu - which was great! Rudy delivered a 5-star dining experience. Just be advised this is a long process, dinner was 4 hours. The shuttle driver was always prompt and would circle around for a literal curb-side drop off. Cons: Others have mentioned the steep hill to town. This was not too bad without luggage, however with luggage this was terrifying on the icy path - I would recommend arranging transport from the train when you arrive with bags. Overall this was a wonderful boutique experience and I would recommend this hotel to friends traveling to the area.

Nuestra experiencia en Hotel Glacier fue simplemente maravillosa. Pasamos 4 noches en sus apartamentos Glacier Express . Los apartamentos era súper moderno, se podría decir que nuevo a estrenar. La localización era perfecta, a unos pasos de la estación que te lleva a las pistas de esquí y a pocos minutos del centro de Grindelwald. Pasamos mucho tiempo en su Hotel Glacier, cuyo diseño es simplemente espectacular. La comida era fabulosa y las habitaciones eran de ensueño. También pasamos un día en su apartamento Bergidyll, el cuál era super bonito y cuya localización era perfecta. En pleno centro de Grindelwald. Sin duda alguna volveremos.

We stayed at Hotel Glacier four nights, and found the staff very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist us in whatever we asked of them. The hotel room was a balcony junior suite and overlooked the beautiful mountainside, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel terrace which overlooked the scenery was great for drinks or snacks, and the breakfast was terrific. Could not have asked for anything more, and we are so glad we selected this hotel to stay in

We stayed at Glacier Apartaments and it was incredible! Very comfortable, stylish and close to everything you need. The apartment had 4 bedrooms. The kitchen have all the utilities you need and the living room you will get the mountains view.
