We had a pleasant stay at the Marriott in Guatemala City. Arriving late in the evening, we opted to stay overnight before heading to Antigua the next day. The hotel was conveniently located just a 10-minute Uber ride from the airport. Check-in was seamless, and our room was spacious and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for both overnight and longer stays in Guatemala City.

Rate showed in the application is deceiving the end customers. Rate paid is 10% higher because the hotel change the USD to quetzales considering their own exchange rate which is 10% higher than the bank. Service in the rooms and restaurant is very good. But in the entrance and front desk not so good.

Up until now from December 2023, this hotel has not yet released security deposit money. I’ve contacted Bonvoy as well and no luck. Beware if you stay here… I’ve spoken to their manager, and their accountants as well.. all given false promises and follow ups.

Well placed, modern hotel with superb personnel and efficiency on par with the best US hotels. Ideal for a business trip. They help, adapt and recommend in a professional and friendly way. Recommended.

What an incredible hotel stay. Honestly found this Courtyard to be a fantastic hotel and highly recommend to stay here when in the city. The rooms are great and comfortable. Bed and pillows were perfect and all amenities made the stay great. The restaurant at the hotel is really good and you wont be disappointed.

If i can give 10 out of 5 stars I would!! The hotel staff is kind, welcoming and friendly! My room was perfectly cleaned daily! Yes, in the states we would think that it's not a big deal but trust me, it's a BIG deal when you travel through Central America. Coming back to the room that is perfectly cleaned after a long day of discovering the country is a rewarding experience! Thank you to everyone in the hotel to make my stay so comfortable!

I requested pickup at the airport but miss operation happened. I requested explanation but the hotel continued to explain inconsistently. I will NEVER RECOMMEND this hotel. WORST SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE.

My friends and I booked a room in August for this week. We flew in from the United States and went straight to the hotel. Upon arrival we were told our reservation had been cancelled in October. We never received a single email or notification about this cancellation (clearly, as we still showed up to the hotel). We were told they could do nothing to help us, they were fully booked, and they had no explanation as to how or why we were cancelled because it’s “just the system”. All of this coming from the manager. We luckily were able to quickly get a room at the Hyatt, their last one, for double the price, but thanks to the Hyatt we were not left stranded. I would never recommend this place to anyone as they have no issue leaving their customers stranded with no explanation.

This is how courtyards used to be and should still be. Friendly staff, professional in every way. Excellent food friendly and quick service. Spotlessly clean and every area. Housekeeping came by everyday to ask if we needed any service. Not one single hotel in the US has ever done that. Instead of using covid restrictions as an excuse they raise the bar and went above and beyond. Enjoyed a brief conversation with the manager Mr Mayen. He and all his staff need a bonus and every courtyard in the U.S. should come and train from them
