The room could use new bed linens and pillows. They were very worn and the pillows were super flat. One chair in the room was not sufficient. More seating would be great. There was space for it. The staff was non-existent. I had to call the owner to check in.

The place was great! Clean, spacious and a very comfortable bed! Thanks for letting us stay there.

Al, the owner, is a great guy and very accommodating. We loved the old school vibe of the place and exploring the grounds. River access, redwoods on property and a wonderful old timey vibe. We will be back in the summer for some camping!

Unfortunately our stay was terrible. We were excited to stay here however were very disappointed. To begin, we couldn’t find our room. We called the number left at the front dest and he laughed, then stated it was outside on the deck. Once we located the room on the deck, we walked in to a window that was wide open with no screen. There was a large spider in the shower and spider webs EVERYWHERE throughout the room and bathroom. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, only drops at a time. Because of this the water couldn’t be left on in hopes to get hot water to wash my face. My partner took a quick shower but stated it never got warm but maybe slightly warmer than freezing after running for a while. There were only 2 very small, well used pillows in the room with no extras in the closet. The bed was comfortable enough but it was hard to sleep with the spiders and clearly dirty floor. With tax we paid over $200 for this experience. I hate to leave bad reviews but the total lack of attention to cleaning and not having hot water has forced me to do so.

The guesthouse guests share the property with Campers. There were unsafe offleash dogs that almost attacked me and my child

Summer camp vibes A beautiful place with rustic charm. It was a last-minute reservation, and I am very glad to have booked two nights. It isn't modern or flashy but, it is perfect for the riverside environment it inhabits. The host is very nice and works at making the common areas feel like home. There is a fun energy around the grounds that strikes memories of summer camp. Amongst the other guest that were mostly families, my partner and I enjoyed the social energy which the facilities are set to encourage. If you are up for fun this is the place to be.
