I wasn’t expecting much as I had not paid much for the room. I was shocked to discover that the room had no toilet, just a shower and a sink. I was showed the shared bathroom and assured I would be the only person using it, but the second time I went in, I found the toilet seat up, so clearly a man had been using it. The bed was comfortable enough but not a good nights sleep. The pub is very loud downstairs and doesn’t close until midnight. The bedroom door would not lock from the inside, I had to jam the door with a chair and did not feel safe. No option of breakfast and nobody there to check out. Had to exit through the fire escape and post my room key through the letter box! The location is handy for Guisborough town centre but I don’t think I would stay here again.

The bed was very comfy and the room a reasonable size. The shower was very small and every time we used it or flushed the toilet it sounded like an industrial drill was coming though the wall. Also there was a nasty stain on the carpet that looked like blood. Ok

Lovely couple of pints in this pub before a meal at a local restaurant Friendly locals, nicely kept beer and a great atmosphere Would love this as my local !

Clean room. Quiet noisy window next to ventilation. Dated bathroom. Good tea and coffee. No breakfast available no on street parking available

The room was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfy. However, the only issue we had was that the door didn’t lock from inside the room and we had to put a chair against it. Otherwise very comfortable stay.

Terrible waste of money. Toilet flushed on its own constantly. Had to complain late at night and had to move to another room which was only available because someone had to cancel. The hotel advertised food but there wasnt a chef because they were working along wirh bar staff at the nearby festival., no regard to hotel guests. We paid far too much money for the poor facilities and obvious lack of staff . Also we parked in their customer car park, residents only. When we checked in we had to give registration details, when we told the staff member she said it was for staff only. The sign definitley said for residents so we left the car there.

5* Nice location, Clean rooms, Exceptional service. Highly recommend
