We stayed for 4 days at The Alvear Palace Hotel, it is a grand old hotel in the stylish neighborhood of La Recoleta, walking distance to shops, restaurants, museums, parks etc. Our suite was spacious, bathroom had a TV over the bathtub, never occur to me to watch TV while taking a bath! The broadloom needs Dining at the hotel Alvear Grill was exceptional, attentive service... and great steak!
This was my second stay at Novotel Buenos Aires. It is located in the heart of downtown on Avenida Corrientes just down the street from El Oblisco (the Obelisk), the iconic monument in Buenos Aires. This hotel is in the heart of the theater district and within easy walking distance of nice malls like Galleria Pacifico. I love the location and the breakfast buffet is very nice. My room was clean, well appointed and in good condition. House keeping took good care of my room every day. The hotel is extremely close to the subway line which makes the whole city easy to reach. My overall feeling is that for my business stay, this hotel was just right. If I came back for a personal vacation with my family, I would also be very comfortable at this Novotel. Great value for what you get. A small gym, a pool and very close to some amazing restaurants.
Location The hotel is in the newer part of the city (Puerto Madero) but convenient in terms of location to most of the neighborhoods you might also want to see like Recoleta, San Telmo, Palermo, Retiro, Belgrano, and La Boca. There's a super market, $ exchange, and restaurants/bars on the block. It's a short walk to Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo (~.6 miles). What is considered ”walkable” is up to you, so I recommend plugging into google maps to get a better idea. Uber is great option and usually pick you up in less than 5 min. Taxis are also out front. Rooms The room was nice. We had a great view facing the city and the Puente de la Mujer bridge. No issues on anything room related. We weren't there much though. Customer Service The staff was great. The downstairs bar has great drinks and service was quick. Talking to the bartenders was actually a highlight of our trip. Manuel was really awesome and easy to talk with and the entire staff was friendly. I recommend trying some of their personality based drinks. I usually stick to beer/wine but decided to try it out and it was really good. Food We didn't eat at the hotel much so can't give food review but majority of our group seemed to enjoy it. There's also a lot of options within 5 min walk of hotel.
A nice hotel near downtown Buenos Aires. The place is clean and the staff is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and the view is top notch. I recommend this hotel for your next visit to Buenos Aires. A lot of amenities around the area are walking distance.
訪訪客Loved our stay here in May 2023 at this hotel. Great location in the centre of BA, halfway between the Obelisk and Plaza de Mayo. Got early check in after long flight that was very welcome. Bed very comfortable on the 5th floor at back of hotel & v quiet, breakfast was very high continental standard, with great pastries & croissants, always well stocked even at busy times. Reception & Cleaning staff & Breakfast staff very attentive. Also our airport transfers arranged as part of booking very good & on time. Hotel near subway called Sube (you have to buy the card from special newspaper kiosks in BA, then you take it to the station to pay to add money on card). It is an integrated transport system, so you can use the buses and metro with Sube card very cheap & easy to get around. Thank you Hotel 725 & Buenos Aires, lots to see & do and amazing food & drink!
訪訪客I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! (lol) You be the judge and please let me know. for more photos and details feel free to follow me at: @la_hormiguitaviajera on instagram. Please be safe ! PS: let me know your feedback out of curiosity
An excellent location close to Av Florida in the centre of town and walking distance to the Buquebus Ferry Terminal for a trip to Uruguay. The bed and room is very comfortable and breakfast is good. The staff were all courteous and friendly. We stayed here for 2 nights then a week in Uruguay before returning for 2 more nights. We left some of our luggage here for a week with no charge. On our second visit our room fronted the street which gave a view of the street performance on the intersection of Lavalle & Florida. We would certainly stay at this very reasonably priced hotel again.
