Recently stayed at this hotel and was so pleased with the service I received. Miss Deidra made sure I had everything I needed. Deidra went above and beyond to make it her priority to see that my stay was a pleasant one. Thank you so much Deidra. Have a "Sunshine" Day!!

Just a night away from home for a reboot. I remember this hotel a long time ago when it was the Venice; then, it use to be a great upscaled place in the 90's. Reserved a King suite. First room was a queen double. I returned to the desk showed them my reservation and they quickly got me another room. Secondly, they didn't have a computerized POS system. Everything was hand written out it took a lot longer to check in. Though the people was quite friendly the process was a bit much. The place was dated still looked exactly the way it did in the 90's. The quick response time from the staff for the room mix up was great. I know when I booked it the website I used stated "only 1 left" but the parking lot was mostly empty. A little misleading. The area...Though not the fault of the establishment, the outside was quite active. I could have swore I heard gunshots or fire works or something. I was greateful I was on the 3rd floor. Sirens going on and off most of the night. I do know there is a hospital near by so some understandable but then some were just police. My room had a jacuzzi tub. I thought wow that would be great couldn't wait for the enjoyment. I couldn't figure out how to turn it on and off so I didn't turn it on. Maybe a good idea to leave instruction. However,the water pressure great and the hot water was great. The TV was unplugged I couldn't imagine why but I did figure it out. The remote didn't work for the tv only the direct tv. You had to manually turn it on once you found the button and the process to turn it off was confusing so I understand why the previous person just unplugged it. Rooms are NOT sound proof or even sound resistant. But its a hotel so not a real big deal. All in all, if its for a night not bad. If you going to be here for an extended time I don't know maybe look at the options.

Checked in Monday night at 5:45 Going up to room was filthy, fresh demand on floors trash all through the hallways bags of trash left outside just about all doors No towels or wash cloths Water still in tub literally took videos at 5:55 Tried calling front desk to address a few things No one would answer I was not in the condition to keep walking on my injured leg and just dealt with it. Noise all night Crack heads everywhere inside and out just standing around smoking **** and crack- literally The cleaners are housed there n uses dollar store items to clean No sanitation or disinfectant- No sanitizer in the hand machines. Do not waste your money here please go to the next one The manager was a nasty white woman & indicated she would not refund anything to me even after showing her videos and photos. Called my bank & was able to dispute it to receive my money back immediately and they will deal with them directly to recover there’s. This is the nastiest hotel I’ve ever been to. They have some nerve to leave on your bed a welcome card So for anyone that sells crack should go here to trap!! The manager had staff that even was saying she takes food stamps for stays as well? Who does that?

Feb. 6, 2023, this building was just condemned today, by the Hagerstown Fire Marshall’s office, for many safety violations, including the sprinkler system being turned off, fire alarm system failed to function, no heat in much of the building, many smoke alarms didn’t work and more.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! This is hands down the worst place I’ve ever stayed in. The place is filthy. The hallways are visibly dirty: carpets are stained and there is garbage and soiled linens outside the rooms. The first room we were given had stained carpets, garbage on the floor and cigarette burn holes in the linens. The fridge didn’t work and the vile smell from the fridge filled the room. The room we were moved to had sticky laminate floors, which was an improvement. I can’t believe I said that! Linens still had burn marks on them. The walls are so thin that you hear everything that your neighbours are doing. Now let’s talk about the smell of the place! It smells like cigarettes and garbage. It’s overwhelming!

I originally booked to stay 8/11 & 8/12, only made it one night the smell was so bad. Mold and cigarette smells. I had to spray the sheets to make it one night. Checked out early because they would not put me in another room and I am still waiting for my security deposit back. Called numerous times and no one cares. Management is a joke. They wont call back. Just a nasty hotel all the way around.

My wife and I checked in thinking this was a Baymont Inn & Suites, which is a chain we've had great experiences with. When we arrived the lobby was partially demolished, there were a number of suspicious characters hanging around outside, and we were advised that it was no longer a Baymont, despite the huge sign displayed on the hi-rise building's exterior. We were persuaded to check the room, but the hallway stunk profoundly of cigarette smoke and the key didn't work. A second room on a different floor was accessible and clean, but there were people hanging out in the hallways, there were no towels and the a/c didn't work. In my Navy days I spent several primitive but modestly comfortable nights in a palm-thatched hooch on Diego Garcia. In comparison that hooch was like the Ritz. We cancelled the registration and charge and we left. Based on other reviews, this situation seems to have started late last year, and there's little indication that it's getting better. I would expect that this may be another business disaster that can be traced to the Virus.

Very nasty. Smoke smell everywhere. Even in rooms. Was advertised as non smoking hotel. Room felt dirty. Used a coupon for discount. Mistake. People hanging out inside and outside all the time. We had a pet friendly room, but should not matter.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. But the whole property smelled like tobacco, our room reeked of tobacco, and the hallways all smelled like **** and tobacco. Our bedside lamp would only light if we also turned on the bathroom light. the shower was just above a trickle and was either boiling or nearly off. the air conditioner sounded like a jet talking off and rattled like it was coming apart. While the hotel was convenient to many things, it was not a walkable area at all. We ended up having to drive everywhere.
