Vor und nach unserer Kilimanjaro Besteigung waren wir 2/1 Nacht im Aishi Machame. Wunderschön gelegen mit kleinem Pool und einem Zugang zu einem Fluss im Wald. Abends können verschiedene Affenarten beobachtet werden. Die Zimmer sind recht klein, aber frisch renoviert und die Betten sind bequem. Duschutensilien stehen zur Verfügung und einen Föhn kann man sich jederzeit an der Rezeption holen. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist gut. Abhängig von der Auslastung gibt es das Frühstück a la Cart oder als Buffet Bezahlt werden kann ausschließlich mit Kreditkarte. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und als Basis für die Kilimanjaro Besteigung liegt die Lidge perfekt.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel avec notre ascension du Kilimandjaro Tout était parfait. La chambre était très propre, le service top. Le restaurant excellent notamment le petit déjeuner vraiment exceptionnel

The good: clean, spacious, friendly, comfortable, quiet. It serves decent food - usually buffet based and at a fixed 20USD per head per meal. It was ideal for a day prior to climbing Kilimanjaro and a welcome spot to return to after the hike! The staff are professional and engaging. The rooms are basic but nice enough (but don’t have aircon). The grounds are lovely and peaceful and a pleasant place to relax, read, swim etc. The bad: not much - slightly inconsistent - our first room had a fan (needed), our second room did not (we subsequently requested one). The infrastructure is not perfect - after our trek we were desperate for a shower - the hotel water system failed so I had to ‘wash’ in the swimming pool! Managed a warm shower the next morning.

I stayed at this hotel for a few days before and after my Kilimanjaro climb. It was part of the package in my booking with Altezza. This is a great place to relax and enjoy all the nature that surrounds it. I found it relaxing to watch the monkeys, feed the rabbits and bush babies, spot tortoises wandering around the grounds and see the ducks at the fish ponds. The service from the staff was friendly and very attentive. I found the rooms very clean and comfortable. The food was great and fairly priced. I tried the laundry service after my climb and it was quick and at a very good price compared to other hotels. I would have been happy staying here longer, but had other places to go and visit...

I used this hotel for overnight stays pre and post Kilimanjaro trek. The hotel is set in well maintained gardens (blue monkeys leaping in the trees), and it has a swimming pool. My rooms (different room before and after trek) were clean, light, and of a generous size. Lots of hot water in the shower and lovely scented shower / hair wash products provided. Meals were served buffet style, and everything I tried was tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We used this hotel as part of a Mount Meru trek with the excellent Altezza company. It is located in beautiful lush grounds, with plenty of wildlife to enjoy. The rooms are currently being modernised and the new ones are of a particularly high standard. Food (mainly buffet) is also very good and wholesome (excellent for preparing mountain trips). Staff are very accommodating and friendly.
