We stay here a lot because we really enjoy the location and the price, but this time we had to check in at midnight & we checked in through the night time check in window.
I understand when we check in that late they have limited rooms to give you, even though we reserved a room with a king size bed, when we got to the room it was two double beds. I didn't make a fuss because I kinda understand they give all the rooms to the people who check in earlier than midnight, but it was still kinda frustrating. It was extremely hot in our room because they didn't have the AC on AT ALL& it's over 100° outside in Arkansas at this time of year. After being in the room for maybe 2 minutes, I get a voicemail from the lady at the front desk saying that our card was declined & that we needed to fix this or our room would be canceled. We had already checked in & she ran our card and gave us the key to our room. So my husband walked down to the lobby and asked the lady about it & she said she never called and that she wouldn't have given us a room key if our card was declined... even though I have a voicemail from her. 🙄 And a whole email saying that our card was declined and we needed to come down and pay for the room. He showed the last that definitely came out of our account and she said she didn't know why there was a voicemail when it was definitely her.. He didn't push the issue. But that was really annoying especially after a long day & it being after midnight, we just wanted sleep.
