卡拉梅蒂亞大別墅(Grand Villa Kalametiya)

We showed up at the villa with no reservation. But this was no problem. In a matter of minutes we had our room. The room was clean and the shower was the best one i've had in Sri Lanka. In the evening we enjoyed a very delicious dinner and in the morning a good breakfast. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. He checked if we were okay and if we wanted something to drink. If you're in the area, you should stay here! The lake is very peacefull and there are a lot of birds in the area. You can even do the birdwatching excursion at the lagoon.

I stayed at Grand Villa Kalamatiya only for a single night during a business visit to Ambalantota, but I was overwhelmed by the hospitality that was offered by the owner and by the natural beauty that surrounds the place. We were offered a very reasonable price for the stay with a value for money service. Breakfast was home-cooked and super delicious. During our short stay, we were able to have a wonderful nature-loving experience as if we were in the middle of a bird sanctuary. I would highly recommend this place for those who are searching for a holiday to be spent with nature.
