The property and the staff are lovely !!!! Unfortunately we were there while pool renovations were being done and the jackhammer all day long was a bit much , however we were offered a small refund . They have an awesome water ferry on the property but on a winter limited schedule . We made the best of the transportation and would recommend this beautiful resort to anyone who asked !

Housekeeping was excellent and we enjoyed the complimentary launch to Hamilton several times a day. A few things in our king 1 BDRM needed attention: dresser drawers wouldn't stay closed, loose handle on refrigerator, kitchen very dark, poor quality cooking pots.

The two restaurants at hotel, Blu and Aurora were the best two meals we had on our two week trip. Absolutely delicious and high quality. The view of the harbor from the horizon pool was gorgeous. We stayed in two types of rooms. The waterfront deluxe studio was spacious, clean and had great views. The one bedroom suite was huge with dining room, nice balcony and two bathrooms. Both rooms had all kitchen amenities as well. We enjoyed walking around the grounds with the lovely tropical flowers, palm trees and looking out at the water. When we would open the balcony door in the morning it smelled like jasmine and flowers. The staff were friendly, room service quick and tasty, and the vibe relaxing. We would stay here again.

The hotel and grounds were beautiful and immaculately kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant was open, airy and bright with seating both inside and out. Food was special and delicious. Wait staff was very attentive and accommodating. We had a very special time there and hope to return one day.

I have been coming to Newstead for three years and it has always been wonderful. This stay however, was not as wonderful. Our second day, the fire alarm went off in our room twice during the night, and we were unable to reach any staff member. Other than that, the staff was very nice and our room was great.
