阿爾卡莫酒店(Alcamo Motel)

Friendly staff but the motel needs a complete make over. The price is way too much for the standard of the rooms. - Stains & marks on carpet - There was hair on the floor & in bath in the bathroom. I don’t think it had actually been cleaned. - Brown water came out of tap - Bathroom sink had brown stains all through it - We both got a sore back from the bed - There was tea etc & milk which was great Overall, they shouldn’t be charging $130 a night for this standard of room. Wow.

I have stayed at this motel years ago. They properly has dated since without being revamped. The room gave the impression of cleanness. The bed was comfy but the spa had to be filled from shower as couldn't get to come out of tap and room filled with steam, but was lovely to soak on. The morning I was to leave pulled back the covers to find blood spots on sheets and pillow, found bug jumping around on bed. I told staff they laughed and said they must have jumped through the windows. Not good enough, I won't stay there again

A frightening experience! This Motel is being used for Emergency Accommodation which wasn't mentioned. There was lots of shouting and cursing. They appear to be double dipping government funds. Dingy

will not stay there again or recomend it

Absolutely terrible. The room was dated, the bed very uncomfortable, to get to the shower you have to climb in and out of a huge spa bath which is slippery when wet, burn marks in the sink, broken bin, cigarette filters in the random hole in the bathroom furniture, stained toilet, and the room had an overpowering smell of air freshener which I guess was to cover cigarette smoke. The smell was so strong I couldn’t stand it and slept in my colleague’s room in the end. The noise from the neighbours spa bath late at night was only overshadowed by screaming children, people shouting and banging doors all night. Parking was crowded. I have travelled extensively over the years and this was hands down the worst place I have ever stayed, I can’t believe they charge $253 for one of these rooms!

No seating outside near the pool area! With Covid peole need fresh air!

I didn't like that they had no communal kitchen so had to buy either takeaway or food that could be heated in a microwave.

This hotel is quite dated and run down and needs some maintenance. When I checked in they put me in the wrong room type vs what I had booked. Eventually they moved me to the correct room type and when I walked in it smelt like smoke and curry. Rather than complaining I went and bought some scented candles to make the room smell more pleasant. It also wasn’t very clean. To be honest I would stay here again if I absolutely had to but it would be my last resort.
