First room had broken thermostat and bathroom floor had clearly not been cleaned after the last guest. I was moved to another room which was infested with ants and when I walked in after being out for the day, there was a cockroach on the wall. This room was also dirty with the floors being unclean enough to leave my feet dirty.
I moved rooms again with no remaining issues. This hotel is extremely poorly maintained with broken or falling off fixtures, dust that is visible in floor areas. Room service does not come to clean the room unless you request it from what I was told.
I’ve stayed in some very run down places, but this was wild for the price and the fact it’s a Hilton. I was told I couldn’t get a refund because I booked through third party (********** obv), but was offered free breakfast as if that would make up for the Wild Kingdom: Insect Edition experience I was having or the other issues.
Elevator lights would sometimes not work and sounded like they were about to die when you rode them.
I don’t know what’s going on with this place. It’s a shame because the view is beautiful and the people who work there were really nice. Like nice to the point that it’s stopping me from calling corporate because I don’t want them to get in trouble.
