Absolutely shocking!
I gave this place a second chance to redeem itself from the week before however this was abysmal in the state of the room and the service given.
We stayed for two nights, on the first morning on taking a shower, the shower tray completely flooded and then flooded the entire bathroom to the extent that this went out to the carpetting in the bedroom. My partners clothes for work that day were ruined.
We told reception about this and was met with "we will tell housekeeping". Based on that the week previous there had been a similar however less dramatic event in the bathroom (shower tray flooded only, not the bathroom too) there was clearly an overall issue with the drainage within the hotel as this was less than a week apart, different rooms etc.
However, we did explain this and got less than impressed faces and bare minimum responses with "if it's not fixed then we will move your room"
On returning back to the hotel that evening we asked reception straight away if it had been solved. Different receptionist and looked like we'd disturbed her watching tv to be honest. "yeah it's sorted". when we queried if it actually had and then raised the issue of if there was any compensation for the inconvenience and ruined clothes she just repeated herself saying it was fixed.
The FoH Manager then started arguing with us saying it was fixed so what did we want. Acknowledgement of the hassle, an apology, a discount, just something to make us feel valued not a row
