It was very clean and the host was very welcoming ❤️

No reception....no service personnel if I require any thing.

The room was very clean and the guest house was in a great location. However, it is supposed to be a bed and breakfast and was told upon arrival that breakfast was not served due to COVID. There is nothing on their website to advise this was the case and we booked partly due to the availability of breakfast. As it was, had to find somewhere local for breakfast. A little disappointed.

When we arrived we was asked to pay for the room in ful. We told the lady we had credit card but she said she wanted the £171 in cash and directed us to the nearest bank. I wasnt at all happy with this as the website says they accept credit/debit cards. This then ate into our spending allowance. I wasnt offerd a reciept & she had 2 days to oblige but this didnt come my way. In the room the very large window has no blind just curtains and is overlooked by other propertys but more so next doors court yard which often had a guy smoking out there. This meant we couldnt get undressed with out closing the curtains. This made the room dark & stuffy as it was very hot on the two days we was there. Our room carpet lead up to the ensuite floor tiles which had quite a big step which wasnt noticable & i stubbed my toe. I was in a great deal of pain. This needs addressing Asap before some one breaks there toes. To stop us doing this again or forgetting in the middle of the night we had to pad it with cushions. The check out was self service and you leave your key in the bedroom door. This i find very impersonable, there is no customer service hear & they are recieving alot of money for not alot in return. This is a shame as the room was very clean & the bed very comfortable. Based on our experience hear we wont return we will find some where with better service

This property is not as advertised. Parking at multi story carpark nearby was £30.00, an unexpected additional cost. Karaoke entertainment is advertised and does not take place. No housekeeping as in made beds etc and we had to ask to clean towels.

Stayed here with my wife and 6 year-old daughter. It was meant to be a two night stay but left after 1 day. There was a strong smell of urine coming from the carpet. Wouldn't blame the hotel as a guest previous has clearly done this and it's dried into the carpet albeit needs cleaning. The bit really upset about is when hotel emailed by us, instead of checking they accused us of potentially wetting the bed amd breaking equiptment in the room (only used one glass ro drink water). We wwnt tobtravel lodge at expense to ourselves (just incase money cited as a reason) Hotel was actually nice, but the carpet and customer service let them down.

Advertised with free parking.. this was street parking if you could find a space which then became no parking at 08:00 in the morning. Alternatively could park in multi storey park 5 mins away but this was locked throughout the night so no access should it be required. No breakfast facility - due to Covid(?) - available but could use cafe ‘round the corner, even though board at front of guest house stated breakfast available. Unfortunately, this did not open until 08:00 by which time you had to have driven away due to parking restrictions or risk a fine.

At first sight the property seemed OK. We expected to share a bathroom with other guests, but not five of them. The bathroom was around 1.5m x 0.5m and contained a standard toilet, a very small sink and a small shower. Having used the shower when we arrived we walked around the town. On our return we were accosted by the manageress, who publicly and loudly berated us for leave the bathroom in an unreasonable condition (though we had not). The manageress pursued us up the stairs and continued to berate us. After spending most of the nigh laying awake because of the bloody seagulls we both showered and we went out to find breakfast, since, despite it being advertised on the outside of the building (see the photo adjacent to this message) was not provided. When we returned in the early afternoon we were again berated by the manageress, who chased us up the stairs to our bedroom door - the 'conversation' was undoubtedly audible to any other guests who were in the building. Again, it was the state of the bathroom that was at issue. We packed and left. Frankly, the manageress has no customer service skills and barely speaks English, I've not received a refund for the unused part of our holiday and have been incorrectly billed for a key which I left in the room. I strongly advise others to find alternative accommodation.

The manageress was rude and vexatious. She seemed to think it was our responsibility to clean the bathroom - which was around 2m x 0.5m and was shared with three other guests. Don't go there !
