Very nice resort. Adorable view. Service is good. A bit far from airport.

The hotel appears grand and well maintained but the furniture and appliances in the rooms is outdated. Our expectations were high but it felt like any mediocre hotel chain. The on property luau was also sub-par but the price was inflated because the Ritz hosts it. It is held inside a event room rather than being outside - which is so disappointing for a "cultural/authentic experience" about the Polynesian Islands?

It seem under staff when it can to the bellhops and getting room services. Several times when calling the Valet for my vehicle it went un answer, same for other things like room services, bartenders at the pool and housekeeping. One of the elevators on my wing was down so it was a hassle for everyone to use the one available and overall it just gave it a bad look. Really didn’t like that there’s no other option for parking other than valet t $50/night. Communication with concierge was not good giving the wrong info, I asked about the beach chairs and umbrellas if you can reserved it I do in how much and she said they were free and didn’t need reservations but at the beach the staff informed me I had to reserve them and that they weren’t free. For the price overall I would definitely not recommend.

I was expecting much more from this brand that it’s known for its luxurious appeal. Food at restaurants were mediocre and service was sub par. Prices on the other hand fell a bit over the top for the quality of the offering. Pools and access to the semi-private beach were good. Don’t think I’d stay there again when coming to Maui. Disappointed.

A little old, staff hit or miss, some were incredible but some were consistently rude. We reserved days before a specific table in person with the host of the restaurant and when they gave away the table this person blamed us for not understand that it was best effort, while 3/4 of the restaurant was empty. It ruined our birthday night.

Liked the ratio of guests to staff, number of total guests at the hotel/pool, pools were amazing, bed was comfortable, nice views, spa was phenomenal, loved the daily house keeping, customer service was great. Did not like - onsite food was not quite as amazing as I was hoping. Location and lack of beach was not my favorite, but likely would still return based on all the great things listed above.

away from the hustle and bustle of Maui. staff were surprisingly rude and condescending. valet was rude and even went out of their way to mention that our electric vehicle would only be charged if the “high end guest” was not using it. only when he had checked out for one day that our vehicle was charged. Ritz is not the Four Seasons and definitely lived up to it this go around for us. You have managed to make us feel second rate and have trained your staff to practice a heiarchy system in which “high end” patrons are treated differently to fuel your “nickel and dime model. My wife and i were here for our 30th Anniversary and her 50th birthday. You have truly made it unforgettable to say the least. To follow up from your management was made even after I emphasized for a follow up regarding the valet issue. I will need a follow up from you or your management or your direct leadership. The leadership i’ve spoken to so far have not quite been exposed to any leadership or management issues that require fragile attention. call or email asap and make this right. we have such a bad taste in our mouth on this stay. Your attention to this matter may depend how many “high end” patrons are in line before me…i will wait.

The hotel was under construction. My room was surrounded by scaffolding. The walkway to the pool was closed. There were men working with drills and jack hammers working on the outside wall of our room. The shower was covered in Black Mold. The toilet had a sewer smell when it flushed. The room across the hall had sewer issues with guys working on it. The fridge froze everything g even on the lowest setting. There were used coffee pods that were never cleaned up from the previous guest. The elevator broke down and they routed us through a dirty service area to a back elevator. This was not at all what I expected from a Ritz Carlton.
