We had a wonderful birthday weekend at Langley Castle. The grounds are stunning, and the location is perfect for exploring the Northumberland countryside and coast. We stayed in the Castle Lodge, which was excellent. Huge thanks to the staff, especially Aidan and Ellie, for being so welcoming and professional. Dinner at the Josephine Restaurant was a highlight—the birthday surprise (chocolate truffles!) for my partner was a very thoughtful touch. After a superb cooked-to-order breakfast and a guided tour the next day, we left feeling very impressed. Highly recommended!

A wonderful suite in the castle. The castle is wonderful. The staff are really friendly. An added bonus is the free tour of the castle, going into the history of the place and the owners overf the centuries.

Jeg trodde jeg hdde bestilt rom i slottet, men fikk et rom Castle Lodge, et stykke unna. Det var skuffende. Rommet var helt greit og badet var stort og relativt nytt. Personalet i restauranten var veldig profesjonelle og hyggelige og,maten var god.

Food bad, restaurant service bad. Table booked 7.30 finally shown to table 8.20, main course arrived 9.15. Steak inedible, vegetarian options very limted and bad. Altogether extremely disappointing

March 2025 night away Hotel was absolutely amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for you, our room (26) was perfect, balcony that looked out onto the castle and the music in the drawing room made a perfect castle atmosphere, breakfast was lovely and the staff even do a guided tour of the place with history information and even a video when you get onto the castle roof, would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay, wish could of stayed for longer. Lovely stay, food was fantastic. Both evening meal and breakfast was devine. Room was beautiful and immaculate. Great castle with lots of history, we did the castle tour that they do every morning which we thought was a lovely touch.

Truly a fantastic experience! The tour was great! The evening the castle was so quiet it was great! Really fantastic! Minor quibble is the shower was small and short but otherwise perfect!!

I stayed in the DeLucy room #2. In the morning it was noisy. I believe the staff room is just below. For a posh castle, the food was horrific. French fries with a simple 10 oz rib eye steak cost 58.50 £. It was horrible!

Lovely stay A lovely stay with a fantastic meal. The historical tour after breakfast was very interesting.
