A beautiful place to spend a weekend away, or for an even longer stay. The grounds were emaculate. The unit we stayed in had all the amenities needed. The lodge is situated close to most activities and super special that Kruger Park Phambeni gate is a stone's throw away. Although close to the mall, once you get in at the gate, you are met with peace and tranquility. A special shoutout to the friendly securities and super responsive and helpful maintenance and cleaning staff.

Beautiful property with lovely facilities. The gardens are lush and birds and butterflies are all around. The hippo pool and hide is beautiful with wonderful walks in a safe secure property. Going through maintenance of thatch and fiber but you don't notice the construction as it's well managed. Legacy hotel group can always be countered on for top class resorts. The bed was a bit springy but we slept well with the option of a fan or aircon in the warm lowveld summer.

Rnr holidays were really helpful with everything. The stay was good thank you, the house is absolutely beautiful, the view is amazing.  Wish we could have had better weather to enjoy the place to it's full capacity.  The only problem the piping downstairs needs to be sorted when opening any tap or flashing a pan. It smells really bad.  It's a very dirty smell to handle. Regards Annistina 

Kruger Park Lodge is ideally located for quick and easy access to the Kruger Park via Phabeni Gate (DO NOT GO VIA NUMBI GATE - too dangerous). The rooms are nicely laid out and well furnished, although we did find our bed a bit uncomfortable. The Golf course is beautiful and the Hippo hide is well worth a visit. We ate at the restaurant a few times and the food and service was excellent. This is our annual get away spot and we thoroughly enjoy each and every visit.

There are many good things to say about Kruger park lodge. Location, golf course, general vibe. But there are some mishaps... The AC unit in the bedroom was not working. We were promised a lot and told a lot of stories, but nothing happened in a full week. With temperatures peaking at 40°C it is not a minor defect. Our units were not equipped with load shedding backup, something I would expect from a place like this. Wifi is not free! we ended up spending approx R2000 for the week without streaming etc. Service in the restaurant is slow, especially if you are a group. But as I started, there are many good things as well, and would I stay here again - yes, I probably would :-)

I was mislead by Lucia, she said 271 is secluded, it's not close to neighbors. We planned to host a pyjama party on our arrival and a pool party but we couldn't as neighbors were 50m close to us. I was flabbergasted and disappointed on our arrival. I will never recommend it to anyone!!

It's great that they have taken measures to ensure that load shedding doesn't negatively impact the holiday experience. The dedication to providing a seamless and enjoyable stay, especially considering the challenges like load shedding, reflects the commitment of the lodge to customer satisfaction. The attention to detail in addressing such issues adds value to the overall experience.

We have been staying in Jan for a week for many years now. The accommodation, facilities , service and overall experience were wonderful and continue to improve. Have complained several times now about the cost of golf for locals and although the course is in good condition, playing 3 or 4 rounds is very expensive (with very necessary cart for most over 50s) in comparison to other , better, Gauteng courses which are cheaper . Again, we suggest reasonably priced golf round packages otherwise we shall simply not be able to play as much golf as we would like. We have heard several other local guests make similar comments. We had one dinner for 4 at the restaurant and were not impressed. Sent 2 Eisbeins back as they were like leather and then received lukewarm calamari replacements. The manager had told us previously that the Eisbeins were outstanding?? The free bottle of wine was a nice gesture but will not encourage us to eat dinner again.
