Bella Villa Messina is our home away from home. Anytime we spend a weekend in wine country we stay there. The owner and manager are great people and treat you like family. They have lived in the area for almost 40 years and know a lot about the area, the people and wineries. We've been to many restaurants and wineries where once we mention the owner's name we recieve a big smile and great treatment. They also create the best breakfasts around.

WoW, what spectacular lodging in a stunning building, one truly feels as if you’re in a Tuscan villa. The guest rooms are spacious, well equipped with dream worthy mattresses and supreme linens. The breakfasts could easily be rated in the Michelin Guide…each morning a differently speciality’ is available.(no Costco muffins here). The host and owner, Jerry, makes everyone feel like family. If asked, he or Ester, will provide recommendations for visits to wineries, restaurants, etc. Our two day stay was simply not long enough. We did not want to leave. Than you Ester, Thank you Jerry for a memorable few days.

We love this place and have been coming here for years. Jerry is the consummate innkeeper. The villa is comfortable and the breakfasts incredible. And if you want an inn (or B&B) in Sonoma in a nice residential neighborhood with a driveway lined with cypress and palm trees, then this is it!!

This place has given my family one of the best experiences we could have gotten from a Bed and Breakfast. The rooms are cozy, chic, and comfortable. They are spacious and with each of them having a different name/theme, they are unique in character. The utilities in the rooms work perfectly, the beds and pillows are plush as can be, and while you might be staying across from strangers, the host makes everyone feel like family. On another note, the breakfasts are 5-star quality. Fresh fruit every morning, a lot of times from local farmers markets, greets you when you sit down at the central dining table. As you snack on strawberries and melons, fresh scrambled eggs and French toast are being made in the kitchen. Finally, I want to touch on the views. From every single window, you get views of hills and trees. The fog in the mornings cover the surroundings like a blanket and it is just stunning. Overall, I would give this B&B a 10/10 review and I will be staying here again.

We had the most amazing stay at Bella Villa Messina! Jerry is a wonderful host & cook and Esther helped us make all of our wine tour and dinner reservations. Jerry knowledge of the area is incredible and we felt like we were away at a home away from home! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend staying here to others.

Let me start by saying that Jerry is an AMAZING human being. We had the time of our lives staying at Villa Bella Messina. Jerry is an amazing cook, and his breakfast spreads are absolutely to die for. The home and property are maintained beautifully with a lot of love and care. You will leave more than satisfied post your stay at Villa Bella Messina. I can only offer you a recommendation by saying that Jerry and his Villa get a 12 out of 10 stars rating from me for everything on offer there. The sunrise experience is just out of the world. Set atop a hill overlooking Healdsburgh. Jerry, the owner/operator, transformed this into a superb B&B, inside and outside, with all rooms decorated with unique antiques. He is a gracious host and imparts his vast knowledge of the area. Also cooks yummy breakfasts and serves evening wine/cheese/olives. We highly recommend.

Hospitality, location, comfort, and wonderful experiences. Our stay at Bella Vista Messina was amazing. We stayed for 5 nights with another couple. Jerry provided recommendations for which vineyards to arrange tours with and what restaurants to set up reservations with weeks before our arrival. He makes you feel exceptionally welcome to his home and the breakfasts and happy hour were first rate. Jerry shares his insights on the region and knows everyone in town and area and got us many reservations at last minute. The B&B is beautiful with incredible views and very comfortable accommodations. We highly recommend this B&B and look forward to our next stay.

We spent four nights at Bella Villa Messina with another couple. We had a wonderful time and appreciated how central this location is to all of the wineries and many good restaurants. The owner, Jerry, took great care of us with wonderful breakfasts and delicious happy hours. The inn is very well appointed with interesting furnishings and comfortable rooms including very nice beds and bedding. Jerry has an eye for detail and it shows in the service and the loveliness of the location. This is our first time staying in Healdsburg, but we all agreed that it will not be our last and we look forward to future stays at the Bella Messina Bed and Breakfast. Thank you Jerry!
