A hidden gem that serves out of this world food. I wanted to find a rural authentic historic French hotel for the journey back to the port of St Malo and I was not disappointed. This place is perfect in a quiet spot 35 minutes from St Malo. The dinner was totally incredible and breakfast was delicious. I will always remember eating here and I thoroughly recommend it. Owner speaks English as well.

Un écrin de douceur et de saveurs. La cuisine, telle une symphonie de goûts, raffinée, délicate, inoubliable. La chambre, douillette et sereine. Et l’accueil, chaleureux a illuminé mon séjour. Un endroit où l’on revient le cœur léger, les papilles encore en fête. Je recommande avec émotion.

Abbiamo scelto di passare qui l'ultima notte della nostra vacanza. Locanda molto carina situata nella piccola cittadina a di Hede. Zona molto tranquilla e riservata. Personale gentile ed accogliente,camere pulite e comode. Noi abbiamo aggiunto alla nostra prenotazione sia il servizio colazione che la cena e siamo rimasto piacevolmente sorpresi. Consigliato!

Repas d'anniversaire le 18 mai 2025 à 12 h 00 - Restaurant ne proposant qu'un seul menu (avec plusieurs possibilités) mais les plats proposés étaient tous succulents aussi bien les ingrédients que la présentation tout était parfait. En plus étant donné les conditions météo très favorables repas servis sur la terrasse extérieure.Quant au personnel on ne peut-être que satisfait : accueil convivial et souriant, beaucoup d'humour également ce qui ne gache rient. Restaurant à fréquenter sans modération.

Un hôtel restaurant tranquille en pleine campagne. Chambre simple sans chichi mais les portes la nuit sont un peu bruyantes c’est dommage. Le petit dej se prend dans la grande salle de restaurant typée très bretonne. Petit déjeuner très simple

We stayed at Le Vieux Moulin for three nights over a weekend in July The Hotel and the restaurant are quite delightful and your hosts, Virginie and Fergal are the perfect Hoteliers. If you are looking to stay in this part of Brittany, look no further. This Hotel has it all and the food quality is to die for.

Great welcome and help with our luggage and bikes . Excellent room . Great evening meal and breakfast. Would love to stay again . Great for cyclists.

Hidden in La Vallee des Mouilins, this hotel is a hidden gem. With easy access (a 5 min walk) from the centre of the village of Hédé and within a five minute drive from the famous 'Onze Ecluses' there is plenty to do and see in this area and this is a great central location to stay. The owners are very accommodating (we were travelling with a young child), the family rooms are ideal and comfortable and the food in the restaurant is superb. All in all, a great place to stay for a few days.

Arrived a bit late after we had a breakdown on the A28. Greeted warmly and soon we were refreshed and having a superb evening meal. We stayed two nights, and dined in both evenings. The food was superb. A good breakfast set us up for our days out, and we were given a spot to safely park our motorcycle. Nothing was too much trouble. Sitting in the garden after our evening meal with our coffee was magical. We would stay again!
