We can’t say enough wonderful things about The Sanders. The mansion is stunning. The decor will take your breath away. There is so much history and so many beautiful antiques and artifacts….we could have stayed many more days. Breakfast was lovely. Hot coffee and pretty china cups were outside our bedroom door in the morning. They thought of everything! You have to visit to believe it!!!!

My husband and I had such a nice stay at The Sanders. The inn is full of interesting furniture, books and art, some from the original home owners. The hosts, Bobbi and Rock, were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They have rich local knowledge. We loved chatting with them and enjoyed the tasty breakfasts. Delicious coffee appeared outside our room each morning! I would highly recommend The Sanders.

We could not of had a more gracious hostess. My wife and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary when tragedy happened she had stomach pains and Bobbi called 911. In less than an hour my wife was in surgery. Bobbi, Rock and Joe took great care of me during my extended stay. I felt more like family than a guest. The house is beautiful, the breakfast tasty, and the people the best.

If there ever were a home away from home, this is it. Look no further … and I’ve written maybe three reviews in a lifetime of travel. The hosts, Bobbi and Rock, are gracious, welcoming, and are as well informed about Helena (the city) and Montana (politics/land use issues/history) as you can be. Wonderful home cooked breakfast, ample enough, you can skip lunch! A great stay of three nights.

Historic mansion within walking distance of fun downtown Helena gorgeously restored with meticulous treatment by the owners. Our two day stay was extremely memorable with early morning coffee in the parlor, delicious breakfasts prepared by their son, a trained chef, evening conversations on their front porch recounting trip experiences and most important comfortable sleep time getting us ready for our next adventure.

This place was a gem. Found by accident and it was fantastic. The rooms are beautiful and the owners are so sweet not to mention the breakfast was restaurant high quality. Definitely recommend you stay here but book in advance they only have 7 rooms

The Sander's Bed & Breakfast was a gem to find! My wife and I stopped in for a quick stay while traveling from Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier NP, on our way to Yellowstone NP. This was the perfect place to grab some rest in a historical house! Bobbi & Rock were the best host. They answered all of our questions about the history of the house and the surrounding area! They even gave us advise on our trip to Yellowstone. The breakfast was delicious!! We hope to be back soon!!

We spent a night at Sanders on our way from Glacier to Yellowstone National Park. The stay was wonderful. Great hosts, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, and perfect location. The rooms are full of antiques and the history of the property and Helena. You can tell Bobbi and her family really love having guests. It was a very pleasant visit.

My experience at this B&B was excellent. We were met by Bobbi when we arrived and were treated to home baked chocolate chip cookies. Bobbi was able to "entertain" mom while I was getting settled. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. The inn was "spotless" and the rooms were furnished impeccably. I'd recommend this inn to anyone looking for a step back in time in this wonderfully restored inn from the 1885 era.
